Wild Drop on MBE Practice Scores
I'm starting to panic a bit. I killed Barbri's first simulated exam, getting in the high 90% of test takers. However, my scores have been steadily dropping, and I hit just at average on the full-day exam. I'm in a tough jurisdiction where average is not sufficient to pass.
Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do to get back to my earlier level of proficiency quickly? Worried that my original score was just a fluke.

The BARBRI Full-Day and Half-Day practice exams are insanely difficult. Do the SFE and see how you do there, you'll notice a huge increase.

I'm really glad to hear you say that, and my study-buddies have mentioned that as well. But I can't help but worry because the average on the simulated MBE is LOWER than the full day exam - roughly 55% vs. 60%. I'm doing worse on the test that's statistically easier.

What's the half day exam? do you mean the SFE?Xferr wrote:I'm starting to panic a bit. I killed Barbri's first simulated exam, getting in the high 90% of test takers. Don't know if this is the same for every state, but in the book labeled "MPQ" there is the sim final exam (100 questions) the full day exam (2 sets of 100 questions) and before that the half day exam (100 questions). All of them are mixed subjects.plath wrote:What's the half day exam? do you mean the SFE?Xferr wrote:I'm starting to panic a bit. Gosh I totally missed that, thanks. Is it possible that I was not assigned the half day thing on my pp?At the Drive-In wrote:Don't know if this is the same for every state, but in the book labeled "MPQ" there is the sim final exam (100 questions) the full day exam (2 sets of 100 questions) and before that the half day exam (100 questions). Sorry, I meant the full-day, not the half-day exam. I did better on the half-day, but still not as well as I did on the simulated MBE. Editing the OP to fix.
