BarBri Diagnostic MBE
I just finished the Barbri 100 question diagnostic for Summer 2014 and got 46/100. Anyone else take it? Results?

I just skipped it, I didn't want to depress myself with a bad result.

Diagnostic is worthless. IMO it's better to save the questions for later if you want some extra.

I got 49/100. Didn't cover much of the material in law school and I have bad long term memory.

I took it this time last year. Scored in the high 40's (48 maybe?) which worried me just a tad. After a month of studying I was consistently doing much, much better, and passed the bar by a very comfortable margin.

Re: BarBri Diagnostic MBE
Take the diagnostic. Barbri gives you too much work to do. The diagnostic will help you figure out where to concentrate your efforts. If you score well on the diagnostic, jump into essays sooner and only do enough MBE questions to keep your skills strong. If you are doing well in ConLaw, but missing all the Property questions, plan to allocate your time appropriately. It's good to get overview of where you are starting, so you can make good choices on where to focus. Barbri isn't going to do that for you. They are going to give you a one size fits all more work than you can do or need approach.

Thanks for the responses. I bombed the property, con law, and trust and wills questions. At least I know what to focus on.

Also got a 46. A lot of subjects/issues sounded familiar, but I couldn't quite remember the rule. I'm hoping things come back to me pretty quickly.

Those were property questions. Some property questions have fact patterns that reference either a will or a trust.5ky wrote:It's notLSATNightmares wrote:Wills and trusts is on the MBE?
