Maximizing BarBri Efficiency

Post by letsdoit » Thu Apr 24, 2014 10:24 am

Got my BarBri books today for the FL bar. Clearly its far too much to get it all done this summer. Which materials should I actually focus on getting done/using daily this summer? I know I've heard the practice MBE questions and conviser mini-outline are the best.

Also wondering what the average study schedule looks like. 8 hours a day, 5 days a week? More? Less? Again, not trying to do every single thing BarBri assigns, just trying to do what I need to do to pass.

Thanks!

Just follow the schedule for a while, that's what it's there for. Barbri themselves specifically say those really big review books aren't ever really meant to be used, just for reference if you need explanation.

You'll generally use the CMR, state specific book (inc essays), MPQ1 and MPQ2 (MBE questions), and the midterm exam

Whats a reasonable daily/weekly schedule? 40 hours a week, M-F? Will less work? I know the answer changes depending on the person, I'm just trying to find a baseline to set up a schedule and my summer planning. Thanks!
