Does anybody know if PR usually shows up on Tuesday? Or is it just as likely on Thursday?

According to my calculations, it appears that it is most likely to be on tuesday, but you never know.mistermister wrote:Does anybody know if PR usually shows up on Tuesday? Or is it just as likely on Thursday?
here is the breakdown of the question number that it appeared for the most recent exams until 2002. I think that there was only one year where they did not ask a PR question. I did this quickly so it may not be 100 percent accurate.
1,1,2,2,5,5,2,2,1,2,5,1,1,2,6,2,5,5,3,6,4,5,3,5,4,3,4

yeah, true but you never know. It is very highly like that Pr will be on the exam. So, cramming Monday on PR might help in both cases.sundance95 wrote:im no statistician but im pretty sure nothing statistically significant can be derived from thatCarryon wrote:According to my calculations, it appears that it is most likely to be on tuesday, but you never know.mistermister wrote:Does anybody know if PR usually shows up on Tuesday? Absolutely not. Any light studying will just make me more anxious. The best thing I can do is recuperate and rest so I'm at peak on game day. I'm even thinking of taking half of Sunday off.ilovesf wrote:are you guys actually planning on studying on monday?

Eh, I'm not going to do any essays but it's not going to stress me out to look over outlines or maybe a couple of answers. I'm definitely a "gotta keep looking at it or it will all fall out" kind of studier.

yes, because i still have a lot to cram into my short term memory.ilovesf wrote:are you guys actually planning on studying on monday?

but then again, this is how i've functioned my entire life and through lawl school, so it's nothing new.
i won't do any practice; just reviewing things like rule statements or whatever.

I'm going to see what I feel like on Monday. Will check out the test center, prep my stuff/food to take to the hotel and relax a bit (maybe go to a park or something, get some fresh air).
But I'll likely look over some outlines or rule statements too (maybe 2-3 hours worth).

The Barbri lecturer for Remedies was just terrible. And I loathe Remedies essays. If we get one....fuck.ilovesf wrote:That essay was the WORST and I was just like "wtf" the entire time.LSATNightmares wrote:Anyone still doing the Barbri program and did Question 6 of Remedies that was assigned yesterday? I swear, the model answer made no sense. The lecture said that there is no restitution available for encroachments, and then they talk about restitutional remedies with encroachment being one remedy. Then I don't know why they suggested an injunction as opposed to restitutional remedies like ejectment for the use of the parking lot on Peter's land. If anyone can explain it to me, I would be super grateful!

Re: California Bar Exam (July 2014) thread
Just to provide an update on that Remedies essay, I contacted Barbri about the essay and the blatant contradiction. They quickly got back to me and told me to follow the lecture, explaining that the model answer was wrong. That doesn't make me all that more confident in Remedies now.FutureInLaw wrote:The Barbri lecturer for Remedies was just terrible. And I loathe Remedies essays. Memorizing partnership and agency is just awesome. Love I gotta waste my time on this on the 5% shot we get a pure agency and/or partnership question.

Although, FWIW, almost everyone is predicting that one and/or the other will most certainly be on the exam in some format.

Ugh I HATE corps! I get big picture concepts (Duty of loyalty-corp opportunities/Ultra Vires/Insider trading/short-sales/ 10b5 ETC. but these little things on proxy voting/subscriptions/ voting trusts getting all the definitions down-overwhelming! I need to stop treating it like an MBE subject but barbri model answers scare the crap out of me!jarofsoup wrote:Isen't everyone predicting corp will show up?
