I'm not trolling, you guys are being the worst kind of people right now. Parsing release data, attacking each other of the most ridiculous minutia, and bumping a thread incessantly making it completely useless.

The bar process has been actually pretty breezy in ny. I'm happy it's cheap (fuck you privileged bastard who would charge all of us $1000 more just so you can salve your insecurity complex three weeks early) and BOLE's system has worked without a hitch so far for me. Grow up and stop posting assinine shit.

Yeah for a poor state to catch up with the times and start funding stuff. The fee is ridiculously low and the court system's budget is underfunded each year. I'm a problem solver. How has it been finding that first lawyer job. Before you go off on me, I'm a clerk and just accepted a post-clerkship offer.

Delaying results would just cause more people like you to call in and ask for updates. I'm pretty sure that's the last thing they want.

One more essay and one more MPT. That's 20% more essay and 50% more MPT, which averages to 35% more. Normally it takes 8 weeks, which puts us at end of October. Thirty-five percent more than 8 is 11, which puts us in mid-November. Math.

Questionable math... Is it not the exact same time spent on essays (6 hours)? Also, adding more material for the examinee to read and respond to should, theoretically, decrease the amount of material the examinee writes. Therefore, it should take less time to sift through the essays.

Regardless, it's all speculation. In reality, they are probably done with the review of the essays and are in the process of double checking the borderline scores, uploading the scores to the server, and verifying the accuracy of the upload. The clerical work here is underestimated.

Vermont switched to the UBE in July, too. Despite more than double the number of examinees in July vis-a-vis the February exam, the results took almost exactly the same amount of time to be released as the February exam. And that's with an additional two essays over the previous format.

If anything, the fact that NCBE provides (I think?) model answers and makes grading much more seamless than a combined MBE/state-specific exam would seem to indicate that grading is easier.

Yes, it has to be very recent because I was on it about 2hrs ago and it had the option to change the address.... Anyone observed this and the time it took to release results on previous exams?
