I've already decided that if I don't pass, I will quietly leave the office without telling anybody. They'll all find out eventually.lisjjen wrote:I think I'm going to head home after lunch today.txadv11 wrote:Glad I took off from work today.Leira7905 wrote:Pass or Fail I'm going to be crying at my desk. We have two in the office waiting on results.....this is what the General Counsel sent out as an invite:
Celebrate/Console Texas Bar Results Lunch
Are you effing kidding me? Like I want to be at a luncheon if one passes and the other doesn't!

How did your boss react?
He had already figured out I didn't pass. I walked up to him and he said to me "Are you ok?" and I said, "I guess. I'm going to head home for the rest of the day, probably be gone tomorrow too, I have a lot to think about." He said "That's fine, take some time before you make a decision about anything."
So he was supportive of me, but, like I said earlier, I'm not working there anymore. I guess two times is the limit, haha.

Well you were discussing alternate careers if this doesn't pan out--you should write a freakin book for law students.TxBarTaker09 wrote:How did your boss react?

I can't decide if I'm going to get any lunch today. I feel like it will pass the time, but I also feel like I may throw up at any moment. Decisions Decisions.

Theres a TLS book that goes something like "RETAKE or don't go" and "Chapter 2: Top14 or don't go."

Last time my wife and I went out to a steakhouse for lunch, which was good, because I was drinking shortly after.

If it ends up not being today, what time should we expect tomorrow?

If it's not today, then obviously none of us know anything and you shouldn't rely on our advice at all.logdog wrote:If it ends up not being today, what time should we expect tomorrow?
