Should I give my phone to someone else in my family to open the email for me? But it would be so embarrassing if I failed.
They'll find out anyway... But I did do that for a college acceptance e-mail, so I won't judge.
True. I think when I see the email, I'm just going to end up crying even before I open it. I just can't go through the hell of studying for the bar exam yet again...
All this talk about when the bar results might come out is making me feel anxious. Not long to go now anyway... two weeks perhaps.

Isn't precedent kind of useless this year given we just moved to the UBE?

More interesting is if there is some deadline to have bar exams graded with some form of deadline set by the National Conference...if only they were open about jurisdictional policy and procedure.
Edit: they just administered the NYLE today as well, so now we see if they will handle administering 2 sets of results at the same time...or will they release the bar earlier to lessen the burden on the folks compiling and computing the stats on the NYLE.

Maybe useless or maybe not. NY is still grading MPT and MEE thus, my professors and Pieper ppl are predicting last week of October just like last year.

I wouldn't trust Pieper they told their course secured transactions won't show up at all and their students got tololololed. I don't trust predictions one but and professors less so.

What's the source for NY still grading MPT and MEE? Cuz, if that's true, then end of october seems quite feasible.

Please explain how this somehow supports the conclusion that NY is still reviewing the written portion of the exam.

Weren't people last year requesting score advisories from Minnesota/Illinois/North Dakota that told them if their MBE qualified them to transfer admission to those states before results were released?

There is nothing there to say that...the question I have is how they're going to handle administer releasing 2 sets of scores in the same time period.
If anything at this point, I think the scores are in and quality controlled, it's just a matter of matching MPRE scores and stating one is certified which shouldn't be hard with the right softwarw.

Did you read the box labeled "POLICIES SET BY UBE JURISDICTIONS"? It says:
"While the UBE is uniformly administered, graded, and scored by user jurisdictions, the user jurisdictions continue to independently
decide who may sit for the bar exam and who will be admitted to practice;
determine underlying educational requirements;
make all character and fitness decisions;
set their own policies regarding the number of times applicants may retake the bar examination;
make ADA decisions;
grade the MEE and MPT;
..."

The key word here was "still" As in actively grading. At this point, which I highly doubt they're still grading essays and MPTs.

Please tell me you're joking... In no way does that statement indicate that NY specifically is still reviewing the written portion of the exam. From one non-attorney to another, please do not use this logic in any legal documents you are responsible for.

I think the point that is obvious to non dense pedants is that New York still grades the written portions, not the NBCE

Lol, this is the type of logic I love to pick up on as a clerk especially when it comes to TRO applications
