Sorry to hear that. Don't you quit on this. John John didn't pass until the third time. Hillary didn't pass the first time and she's about to become the first female President.LadyMary wrote:Didn't pass.

Congrats to everyone who passed! And to those that didn't you'll get it next time because now you know what it really feels like to take it. Also thank you to everyone on this message board. This place has really helped coming from an out of state school being the only one to take this bar. I don't know if I would be in the same place mentally and emotionally without y'all.

Ah. Nope. No messages. Well, i'm happy with just seeing the pass list. I consider myself lucky to even be provided my scores. In Florida, if you pass, you don't know your scores. I never knew my Florida scores.BVest wrote:With the old system (efast), they uploaded a letter to your account (the same letter they will mail to your home tomorrow). The Atlas sheet is in your User Home on the right side. A message, I think.
Do passers get to see their scores for their essays, etc? Anyone willing to share their scores (I know it doesn't matter, but I'm just curious)?

they are sending them out now; I was notified via email that it was in my account
you get your MBE score + total score
I did exactly how I prepped/felt: median on the MBE, slaughtered all of the essays

Congratulations to all those that passed. This was the most stressful time period I have ever been through.
To those that did not pass, while it may sting right now, look forward to the feeling that comes with passing. Go at it with a single minded focus.

Thank you everyone for keeping me sane over the past 2 days. What a terrible experience. Happy to report that I passed (even though 100% convinced that I failed).

No. MBE and total only. Theory, I guess is Total so that you know extent to which you over-prepared and MBE so you can know where you stand in terms of transferring it to other jurisdictions.LikesSushiAlot wrote:The Atlas sheet is in your User Home on the right side. A message, I think.

Re: July 2016 Texas Bar Exam
I got a 740 overall score. No idea how that compares. Was sure I had failed after testing, felt like the MBE was so much harder than any of my Barbri practice tests. Thought I did really well on 5 of the essays, meh on 1, and had no idea what I was talking about on 4.LikesSushiAlot wrote:The Atlas sheet is in your User Home on the right side. A message, I think.

Edit: 153 MBE

Re: July 2016 Texas Bar Exam
I got a 748 overall score with a 155 MBE. For what it's worth, I left the MBE feeling like I guessed on almost every question. There were definitely a few essays where I just winged it because I wasn't sure how to address some of the prompt. For those who didn't pass, I think my main advice would be to completely answer every question and to not let yourself get intimidated and thus end up with a very brief response - I made sure to write as much as I could even if I didn't have many legal tools to work with.ALgooner wrote:I got a 740 overall score. Regarding the MBE, even though I felt like I had guessed, I had been testing well in prep materials - that goes to show that you just have to trust your numbers. even if it feels like the questions are bizarre, you probably are able to narrow it down to two choices, and the intuition you have built up will make up the difference. if you let the test affect you mentally, it can do a lot more damage than you think.
prep hard, work on your mental confidence, and you should be good next time.

I felt the same way. I used Adaptibar. I made a 138 on the MBE in Florida, and after using Adaptibar only i made a 151 in Texas.umstah wrote:I got a 748 overall score with a 155 MBE. Also, for MBE: use Adaptibar, and for essays: prepare by taking past essay questions (they have answers to compare), they tend to repeat same concepts/fact patterns.umstah wrote:I got a 748 overall score with a 155 MBE. Finally. Passed. What a fucking relief. This was my 3rd time taking the bar. I went through hell and back to get here. Feels good, man. Feels good.
Congratulations to you guys. For those that didn't pass, my heart breaks for you. I was there. Please PM me if you need to talk. Take the weekend to recoup and DO NOT GIVE UP.
I am proud of ALL OF YOU regardless of your score. Much love.

Re: July 2016 Texas Bar Exam
RE MBE: I used critical pass and then filled in the cracks that critical pass didn't cover with the BarBri Conviser. I only used real questions (not Adaptibar, but the Emmanuel's book). I highly recommend only using real questions, and doing at least ~1000).Prana-9 wrote:Also, for MBE: use Adaptibar, and for essays: prepare by taking past essay questions (they have answers to compare), they tend to repeat same concepts/fact patterns.umstah wrote:I got a 748 overall score with a 155 MBE.
