Likely the same results with the MBE if their system is that sophisticated to pick up on the jurisdiction for one. This is really annoying to be certain the national conference knows our scores but NY just sits on them because the old folks had to wait so long, they'll punish us by making us wait. Like having a hot clean woman (or guy depending on gender or preference) tell you they'll spend the night one of these days and not tell you when or give you time to mentally prepare; just ride the roller coaster of uncertainty and anxiety much like being **** teased.

I imagine getting a nasty response about waiting like everyone else has done for the last 100 years. However I could put my Dale Carnegie inspired schmooze on and see if I get anything at lunch.

I think you're probably right! However, always a slight possibility that you'll get someone who is
a) very kind, or
b) quite bad at their job, such that they don't know or care about the protocol for giving out info!

I've considered calling myself on the above bases, but it's an expensive call for me as i'm international. Would be interested to hear if you have any luck!

Well here's the game plan, wish me luck.

1) Don't call like an anxious bar taker, call them about something else you are considering.

2) Let them talk and feel important

3) Lower level person cannot respond but feels important, possibility of them finding someone who does know.

Repeat steps making high level person feel important ask for a window don't probe about date specifically but just enough info to draw an inference and ensure they don't get in trouble either.

I don't plan on asking for a date specifically, just enough to Rule out/or consider scores being imminent and a window in relation to Halloween if release is not imminent.

Are we certain that they know our scores? Did we just get the ability to request a score report? Do people in other jdx's not have the option of requesting a score report?

The email line doesn't give you any clues - however my memory of it is once opened, the email does tell you whether you failed or passed. There's also an attachment with the details.

Going back to the February 2015 thread, those folks got results at 5PM. For the most part, they release at midnight.

Interestingly enough, that crew noticed the website down at midnight the day the scores came out....idk I'm kinda done hypothecating, the egg timer will buzz when it's done lol.

NYLJ publishing something is sporadic at most, you can't find their article for every bar exam over the last few years. It all depends, I wouldn't hold my breath looking for it, ask the folks who took the exam in February 2015.

my issue with the site maintenance hypothesis is that there could often be site maintenance but people just notice in the end of october bc of bar results.
