I'm shocked...146.4 on the MBE and a 749 overall. Utterly shocked.

711 overall, 148 MBE.

I had a 126 MBE in July. I studied that shit like crazy this go-around. it really paid off, I think that's the difference maker. Essays you can always BS, MBE you either know it or you dont.

144.9 MBE, 744 overall. I have no idea how that happened.

Similar scores y'all, with my MBE at 145.7. Really happy that we, especially my fellow repeaters, did well.

Congrats everyone!! I passed as well! It's so nice to see the people you've been following do well (esp fellow repeaters) :D

Good luck to those who weren't successful this time. You WILL get this done in July.

Oh man I need a drink. Anyone in Houston who wants to get a drink tonight, I'll probably be downtown somewhere. Not midtown because fuck that we're attorneys not college kids.

To anyone that didn't pass:
I was in your shoes a couple months ago. It's gonna feel awful. Handle it however you want to handle it but know that in a few months you're gonna have to go through it again and that you're gonna do better.

Also, this weekend I plan to make a couple posts or so on the July 2016 Texas thread here. I think I really improved how to study from failing in July 2015 to passing in February 2016. I plan to share everything I have to help y'all improve and hopefully pass. I hate this test and think it is stupid and I really hate knowing that there are even more people (percentage wise) going through right now what I went through last time.

I know that I haven't really written here much at all and that everyone says this but thank you all so much. I was a retaker who passed on the second try. It was terrible for me and I beat myself up so much over it. I found this forum as a great source of information and solace. You may not know me and I don't, technically, know you but... thank you beyond words.

To all my retakers: you can fucking do it. Let yourself mourn for a week. Then dust yourself off and plan and then fight. You can do anything. I literally, and this isn't for bragging purposes AT ALL, improved nearly 100 points. I worked full time. You can fucking do it. PM if you ever need someone to talk to.

Proud of all my retakers who passed. We did it!

Failed...

Anyone know how BarBri retake for free crap works? It's been a hellish week for me anyway so I'm anticipating I won't be allowed to retake the course for some reason or another.

Passed. Still can't believe it. 140.4/716. A ~22 point increase on the MBE, 60 point increase overall.

To the retakers- I know it sucks. This was my second swing and I thought I would lose my mind if I took one more goddamned practice test or freak out about one more practice essay. But you can do it. Take a few days to curse the BLE and rail against what is basically a mass hazing, and then get back to it.

long time lurker, first time poster. just took the february exam as a first time taker (out of state) and used barbri. unfortunately, i did not pass. my mbe score was really low and my essays were okay, but could be better. mpt was terrible and p&e score was okay, not great. i just signed up for adaptibar and am going to get access to barbri again since it's free. anyone have any advice on how to study again or what would be my best course of action for re-taking? thanks for the help!

Passed with a 155.1 MBE and a 730 overall so I guess I suck at essays ....

Just wanted to thank everyone on this thread for keeping me updated. This was an extremely helpful forum, during a very stressful period.

I wish everyone the best of luck, and thank God they released the results before the weekend.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
