Yea, you can definitely have a lower MBE score in MD compared to most states, but I would certainly prefer a high one and not let it be a question!
True...however I feel better about the essays than the MBE! I seriously have no idea how I did on the MBE.
I feel pretty good about the essays. None of them really caught me off guard. The interrogation/admission/5th/6th Amendment one was a little rough, but I feel like I domianted the Multistate Essay, the Mother/Daughter, Gay Marriage/Divorce, and Evidence Essay. Hopefully that is enough to pull me through. MBE... I didn't find it especially perplexing, which worries me that I missed a bunch, but again... Essays take me home!

I ditto everyone's comments from today...
The glitch worked last July. I found out right at midnight, which was good in my case because I spent the entire night crying and was done with mourning by midday Friday. I don't think they have a way to fix it because it's been happening for years and they are aware of it (hence the denial). My money is on it happening again this round.
At this point I just want to know my results so I can have closure. I'm also pretty numb to what the actual results will be. This is hell.

So what is the glitch exactly? Do we want red x's or do we not want red x's?

Ps. I just can't wrap my head around why people care about their total and essay scores if they passed. Who cares? I would not give a damn if I passed with one point over or 50 points over. I would never want to think about this experience in any way.

Same. Give me a pass. MBE score is nice to know re DC waive-in. That's all.

You do not want red x's. Another indication is that you
will be able to submit a retake application. Your petition will say "retake" instead of "original." If you've
passed, the save application button will not be there, and you will get some sort of error message -- I can't remember if it says no valid application or call SBLE, or something to that affect. Just make sure you have you seat number jotted down if you decide to try to submit the application, I vaguely remember the seat number disappeared after I submitted my "retake" petition at midnight last time. If you try to submit your application now (by clicking on the link for application), you will see the system is not going to allow it -- you will get through to the last page but there is no submit button.

100% agreed. If I pass I won't ever give the exam another thought.

The glitch is a mind fuck no matter what. You see Red X's, but then still hold out hope, that maybe THIS year they fixed it. You see the same green checks, but STILL have to wait til 4:30 to get some sort of confirmation that you passed, because MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, this is the year they fixed the glitch, and no red x's are shown. Just one more log on the "the bar exam is miserable" fire.

For those of you wondering, cause I just know you are... I've still got check marks, except next to the "Submit Petition" button. That is the caution triangle because I was frustrated and resubmitted it a month ago.

Ha that was my thought process exactly last time. I don't see any reason to think that they fixed it this time around, because they haven't for the last 3 years.

Same here, but it isn't really telling yet because the system doesn't update until midnight tonight. Unless someone already has red x's.

Thanks!...Now, to put myself through that, or wait until the results come out at 4:30....decisions, decisions.

I really like the camaraderie in this thread. Thanks all for being kind and helpful. I'll be keeping an eye on my account and updating with changes as well. Planning on binging GOT and trying to forget the outside world tonight.

I sincerely hope everyone here passes. Wouldn't wish the feeling of failing on anyone.

I had another idea of a way to find out... but it seems SBLE may have disabled the mechanism... This was my thought:
If you pass you can complete the online ethics training as early as this Saturday. So a couple of weeks back I went to the course website and tried to login by saying I forgot my username and password. It takes you to a page asking for your email. I entered my email and it said I did not have an account setup. I tried to do that again today, and the entire website has been taken down for an update: since 5 am. I suspect it is to avoid people doing just what I tried a few weeks ago. Or maybe I'm reading too much into this.
