REALLY want to thank y'all for the collaboration leading up to the exam. I would've been killed by that last essay had we not been discussing the possibility of Admin coming up since it was the last chance the NY Bar Examiners had to test it, and they hadn't tested it in February. I had originally been of the opinion "yeah they might do it," but didn't realize they hadn't in February until I read it on here. I decided to briefly review my Admin outline before leaving my apt for Javits, and I am SO glad I did. Seriously. TLS saved my ass on that one.

I felt pretty good coming out of Tuesday (thought the MPT was the hardest one I'd done, obviously the Admin essay was like "OMG I can't believe they did this," and there were some randoms like the "immunity" question in the tort fact pattern). MBE was "eh, fine" after the AM session and "eh, fine, but the beginning seemed a little tough" after the PM session. NYMC = LOL wut is this?

I think themis did an adequate job prepping me, but I definitely credit TLS for invaluable collaboration.

Ya, the hype on here about Admin was $. That question was a godsend. Sounds like it caught a lot of people off-guard.

NYMC was really tough. . . but I kind of figured it would be. Kaplan kind of ignored that and seemed to take it for granted that unless you took NY practice or something that would be your weakest section. But still. . . would not be surprised if I got 20/50.

MPT was kind of tough to organize I thought, and time was an issue, but made sure to finish. Didn't really practice many MPTs though so probably to be expected.

As for the MBE, well, I think its always tough to predict. I did tons of Kaplan MBE practice qs and would often do a set of 50 and feel not so great about it and score well. So hopefully that happens on the real thing as well.

So there were other elements, but it was all how it applies to an admin hearing

I remember sol, due process (right/analysis), trespass, in that exact order. When was the evidence issue asked? Worrying that it was on the other side of the page or something...

I will not pass and I don't whine.

Completely missed the last essay ( wrong sol, didn't study admin so of course, didn't talk about article 78 or sth ) and the due process thing, lol.

The other essay i said there was ademption which is plain stupid since there was no will.

I completely missed an essay + a couple of questions.

So yeah.

Do you agree or disagree???

I feel Day 1=essays are HARDER than Day 2, MBE...

For essays, time is too limited and topics are somehow off...

But i managed to put all together; I know for some essays I made the rule up..... but that is the best I can do.

For MBE, all is reasonable... I love real estate question..

How to know the final result?? what is the curve???

Do you people seriously not realize that there are a lot of people who take this exam over several days (testing accommodations) and you just gave them a ton of answers?

Yea, that much discussion is probably no bueno. But it also wasn't entirely "answers" (obviously no one wrote perfect essays, but I spotted some objectively wrong stuff above, so yea...)

My question is whether this violates the bar rules about sharing questions. Should I (we) be deleting previous posts that reference topics or answers?

For whatever reason I thought essay discussion was okay but that MBE discussion was not. Not sure why I thought that though.

You're wrong. That can't be discussed here. Definitely not in that level of detail

The several day test takers in NY- they start essays monday and finished essays tuesday (we did all the essays tues) so we are on the same page.

I think NJ has not started essays yet bc they said we can't talk about them until August 5th (next weds?)

I don't think you should post the literal essay questions and answers in their entirety mostly because its unhealthy

Discussion of bar answers of any kind is not allowed here. (TBF, I think some states let you take the essay questions out with you, so there's no real point in banning discussion of those, but to keep from having to keep track of which states let you discuss and which states don't, no discussion of answers is allowed here.)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
