not that this matters at all but Wanda gets temporary support even though she received the 300k house + $4.8 million in stock and will receive substantial child support from the father? wow

I have no basis for saying this, but it would seem wrong to take the child support into account; that's for the kids right? The spousal support is to allow W to get back to being able to teach again. And the house and the stock really aren't liquid assets in this case (No idea if courts are supposed to/allowed to take this into account, just thinking out loud.)

I don't see anything like it in the MEET. The description mentions an MEEH, but idk what that is.

How did you guys feel about the MPT? I noticed I don't remember anything about my 1l writing course and was only able to write 850 words. I barely cited the depositions... are we suppose to do short cites to the depos? Made up some shit rules for the third claim based on the first case. The MPT is free points and I feel rather unprepared to write something that's not mediocre. Any tips?

LOL at that contracts essay--I did so poorly I'm not even going to bother grading it. I had no idea about anything other than the Statute of Frauds at the beginning.

Side note, does anyone know if these are questions that were on actual exams or if they were written by BarBri? Because these questions seem very different from the ones in the MEET book.

I was about too, but I thought the prompt kind of precluded talking about it. I think it may have mentioned that in the answers, as well?

I find it so difficult on a question like that because there really are a few different directions you can go in - I thought the guidance was a bit lacking.
