i was going to do it until i saw everyone here saying it was bullshit. im mostly just doing sets 1-4 and then questions from my strategies and tactics books. I also have the 4 released exams from the NCBE website that i'm going to do later on this week and next
They are PDF right? I'm gonna have to take them to staples to get them binded.

EDIT: Nvm, looks like they're only available online. Bummer.

Awesome, thanks. And this book includes OPE-4, the 2013 MBE right? Also, the OPE's are only 100 questions?

Yes and yes :)

ETA: also, she ships with priority mail, so its $95 plus $6.80 for priority mail shipping with tracking. Beats the $200 the NCBE charges!

OPE-4 Is in the very back of S/T. Even after the "practice exam". I have the edition with Civ Pro.

Based off a skim of OPE-4, it seems like the fact patterns get to the point more quickly than Barbri, if that makes sense. Some are REALLY short but not necessarily any easier. I hope this doesn't violate any rules here but one question I read was literally: A H and W acquired property as JT with Rights of Survivorship. Husband subsequently devised his interest through a valid will. Husband died. Is wife now sole owner of the land?

I'm actually interested in the answer this to this question. Did the question assume JT or entirety? I think tenants by the entirety cannot sever by will, only divorce, mutual agreement, and something else.

Question just stated that they owned the land as Joint Tenants with ROS. Answer is Wife is sole owner. I think the Joint Tenancy can only be severed by sale, partition or mortgage.

yep JT w/ ROS is not descendible or devisable, so it cannot be given away through a will

Laptop is too far away lol. Drop a spoiler

"there were a number of questions in the practice test in which a good case could be made for either one of two correct answers" but in the MBE itself there are some close calls but there will always be a correct answer because of a specific fact or in the answer itself.
which test is this referring to? the simulated MBE?

How is everyone preparing for the MEE portion? I'm really struggling with the Barbri essays. I can't even do them closed book and the test is only 2 weeks away.

+1

FWIW, I downloaded efficientbarprep outlines and don't plan on writing out any of the MBE topics. Have no idea how to memorize these extra topics, esp. corps., wills/trusts & sec'd trans.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
