Agree with above, no real reason for him to say anything other than May 2nd right now.

I've always been curious how the grading process works. At this point, do they actually not have our results in hand yet? Is it a matter of uploading all of the data to the internet this week? Just wondering if anyone knew how this process actually works. In Oklahoma, we had double the amount of essays than Texas and the turnaround was only a month. Granted, there were less examinees but still. The bar grading process seems so mysterious.

Take this with a grain of salt,.....because i have no real insight at all. However, drawing from my expierence in working for and within government/non-profits, i would guess towards that they know and have known for a week or two.

Logistics wise, they have to have this wrapped up in order to correct issues etc.

Also...it is my understanding that they re read some essays if the candidate fails on the first read. That alone must take a week or two to get everything lined up for that.....

So yes, u have either passed or not, and the results are just sitting there waiting to be released in the next 5-8 days....

Enjoy the weeks gals and guys!.

Haha..it's such torture. Just glad it isn't the 3 month wait the July exam brings.

In addition to re-grading the exams with scores of 670-674, I think they spend a considerable amount of time double and triple checking the math on every single exam. They don't want anyone coming to them after results asking for a recalculation.

But I agree. This shit is tedious.

Was it truly that speedy? I don't remember. I took it in July '13 and learned my results in the mail. LMAO.

In the Texas Board's defense, the OK essays didn't deviate too far from some of my law school exams.

That's odd since OK posts a list on the web. I also took it in '13 and had no issues with getting timely results. I miss the OK bar. Half the essay questions were MBE subjects, so talk about gimme questions. At least you felt pretty prepared because the topics were relatively predictable. Texas definitely has a MUCH more difficult exam. I for one, will definitely be proud if I pass.

Oops. I was sitting at the office refreshing the page constantly  My boss tried to play a joke on me and print out the list minus the page my name was on (my name was on the last page).

Sooooo...this will be the longest week ever.

Here's to hoping results are this Friday and that we will never have to think of this exam ever again.

Yeah... based on his Tweet, I think I'm officially hanging up hope that we'll get them Friday. Looks like last November he confirmed on Monday that results would be out a day early. If he's still saying Monday then.... sigh. At least I don't have to live all week in hope. I appreciate that much.

"Sorry, Vienna—Texas bar results will be posted next Mon., May 2."

Yea, that looks much more definite than the previous tweet. Fuck me. Time to ask off Monday for work....

Grrrr. I hate the ideas of getting results on a Monday and having to work on Tuesday regardless. Still.. I suppose that is better than them making us wait another full week from Friday.

Bah :( Was really hoping for Friday so I could look at the results without my work asking. Keeping my job is contingent on bar results so it's going to be extra fun! lol Hopefully I'll have good news to tell them

I'm a retaker, and the waiting process this time has been so much better since I've been able to focus on work instead of results. But now that there's a week left to go, I'm freaking out

I submitted my original degree certificate to the board with my application in January for the July bar. Now I need the original certificate back, I read they do not return them. Is this correct?

Your best bet would be to call them asap and get it sorted out.

Just got this e-mail notice:

Looks like I'll need to dust-off my mail-ordered time-travel device.

Stupid email nearly gave me a heart attack. What... they can send this out, but can't post the dang grades?

And lol about the time travel to 2014. I'd say they are later than I originally thought...

I will say this is the same email I received for the July Bar (obviously different release date), and they released a day early. The difference being of course they didn't back up the release date like this time.

When I got the e-mail I had this small glimmer of hope that it was going to say Friday. *dreamscrushed*
