Essay 1: 60.0 ; 60
Essay 2: 60; 55
Essay 3: 55;55
Essay 4: 60; 60
Essay 5:60; 60
Essay 6: 65; 60

PT A: 65; 65
PT B: 60; 70

The PT is a shock since I did not practice a single one. Also, I worked full time and suffered a miscarriage 4 weeks before the bar. So I figure that was part of it.

First, I hate you for getting those sweet PT scores without having practiced a single one!

Second, condolences for your miscarriage. That probably derailed your study plans.

Third, despite that, you were pretty close! Passing = 1440, so you were about 22 points away.

Given your relatively lower MBE score, I want to recommend that you focus on learning the law more. Every question you do should be an opportunity to learn or validate what you know about that topic. Read the explanations given in its entirety (for choices A-D). If you got the question wrong, understand the reasoning -- what the relevant rule was and how it was applied. If you got it right, verify that you got it for the right reason.

Then, feel free to redo the questions down the line. If you actually understand it, you should be able to get it again. Don't worry if you think you got it because you were "familiar" with it. As long as you do real questions, the questions you see on the bar should be "familiar," too.

It's going to take more conscious effort than just grinding through questions going through the motions for quantity, but quality > quantity. Let's try to get your scaled MBE to 1440.

For your essays, it looks like if you improve your organization and IRAC, you'll improve your written scores in general. It's hard to tell without looking at your answers.

And don't wing the PTs this time. I don't know if you've had experience pulling apart cases in the past, but you're the only one I know who clocked them in at 65 without having done a single one (and I've been around these bar threads for 3 years).
