1) How far along are you guys, in terms of overall progress %?
2) Can someone explain the suggested pace again?
Currently at 35.5%.
Suggested Pace, from what I can gather, is Themis's suggested percentage amount of the course that you should complete that day. The pace is essentially the assignments they've scheduled you to complete for that day.
If you do more than you are scheduled, your "Completed Today" will go up.

Makes sense. And damn, are you head of schedule or am I just way behind? Not even close to that.

Did Milestone 1 yesterday. I know there is the "compare yourself to the average student" score, but does anyone know what percentage we should be aiming to be around at this point?

I started a week early, and I try to do a little extra everyday or every other day. Like today, my pace was 1.6%, but I've completed 2.3%. That shaves off about half a day -- just in case I want to take Sunday afternoon off, I won't feel bad about it.

I love ConLaw. Almost everything tested was covered in my 1L class. Hoping to make up for my poor contract performance with good con law performance on the barzam, haha

Little confused about the MPT materials. It's telling me to watch the videos which explain "In re Hammond". Are we not supposed to actually do these ones, and just work through the materials/sample answer?
Edit: Looks like it isn't part of the recommended study schedule. Just read it and watch the lecture I guess.

Anyone else feel like the MPT should be studied later? I feel like it's not going to be easy but will likely be the easiest part of the bar. I'd rather spend this time just memorizing black letter law. I barely scraped by with 60% on my milestone and it is mostly because I have nothing memorized.

I started 7 days later than recommended, and I just realized today that I am back on schedule! Doing an extra assignment or two each day paid off.

Yeah I was a little surprised to see it come up already. I don't have any of the three subjects down anywhere near cold, and I haven't touched crim or con law yet.

I guess my question is, how do you know your on schedule? Are you going off the original recommended study schedule? The course progress doesn't seem to tell you if your behind that pace.

I just skimmed through the materials and then watched the videos.
I just did my first practice MPT - Magnolia. Dare I say I sort of enjoyed it?? This is what the entire bar exam should be - can you go through law and apply it to your case's facts. I remember being relieved that this wasn't part of the test when I took the VA Bar, but I think it may be my strongest part of the MD bar. All the info is there, yay.
Are you all taking the essay day on a laptop? I hadn't signed up because it annoys me to sink even more money into this test and I'm afraid I'll end up accidentally deleting an essay or my computer will freeze or something. But...it would be a lot easier to go back and add/edit the essays. My handwriting is fine.

I did one practice MBT today and felt pretty confident about it, so I'm definitely going to move on to more studying and my next topic and not worry about the MBT for awhile.
I'm at 25.7% right now. Pretty sure the email they sent us about the milestone exam said everyone should aim to hit that 25% mark this week.

Yeah, it doesn't really spell that out, but I guess that's the plan. Makes sense.
MPT doesn't sound bad honestly. Although I'm a little freaked out about having to do some shit I have no experience in like jury instructions.
Laptop here. Handwriting is truly atrocious and I type well, so no question.

Ah I see that now. Well I'm a little behind but should be there by the end of this week.

Part of my 25.7 is marking complete that I read the long outlines, which I don't actually do, FWIW.

1) I started much earlier than expected because I am working until this Friday, but 50.2%
2) It's how much you should get accomplished today (according to the software) to stay on pace to complete the course.

On a Mac you can go to File > Export as PDF, not sure if that's the same on Windows
Just go to Print from main outline online, and you should have an option to "Print to PDF"

Oy vey, I'm really behind compared to you all. I need to work more efficiently. This is ridiculous.

I'm pretty far behind everyone at this point as well, had some interviews and work that just took up a lot of my time. I'm below 20% FWIW. Planning to grind real hard for a week or so to get back on pace.
Does anyone else's MPT book have this incredibly irritating printing error throughout Phoneix v. Biogensesis where there is spaces in the middle of random words? Driving me insane.

Tried to get pdf versions of the FROs....
Themis customer service told me it couldn't "for copyright purposes."
Bummer.

Ugh. Did really well on some property PQs then shit the bed on a practice essay. Probably should have just called it a day.

I'm on pace percentage-wise for the course, but I really need to spend some time updating my outlines and memorizing. Evidence is killing me.
Also, I love making Professor McElroy speak at 2x.

I'm doing the same! Started early but following that for some days off. The algorithm doesn't handle working ahead very well and lots of times I end up with nothing but like, 4 essays in a day or 80 pages of the long outlines and nothing else. Trying to not make myself need to do more than one scheduled day at a time so I can spend time memorizing as well.
