I'm working from home today and knocking out projects so I can log off early. My plan is to be at the bar with a drink in my hand when results are released. Regardless of what they are, I'll need a shot.

This is the right idea.

Arizona is out early. I passed! 49% pass rate. Congrats to everyone who passed. To those who didn't, stay positive and keep fighting.

Sparky should be banned, permanently, from TLS for the above post.

Patiently waiting as well. Question, does anyone know if bar testers know whether a test taker has accomodations or not?

Results are up. Didn't make it. Hoping I get my score tomorrow in the mail to see if I got high enough to get into New Mexico.

Lead with what? This is the "Feb 2016 bar results waiting thread." I posted after I read a press release. Shortly after, people posted some pretty rude comments. I know I'm rather new to the board, but what part of my post was misleading, disrespectful, or otherwise inappropriate?
I know this is an emotional day for people, but there is no need to be rude or accusatory.
Thank you though. Congrats to everyone who passed.

Random question...
So I booked a bar/anniversary trip to DR the same day my bar result comes out...so is it better to check before I get to DR or after? Either way, I plan to get shitfaced. There is no escaping it since registration for July (if I want to take it) is due in the middle of my trip; so either way I gotta know. Any suggestions?

What... just check when you can dude. IT makes no sense to jeopardize your future and miss registration to have fun in ignorance. I would never be able to fully relax anywyas.
Just assume you failed, check, and then register for july. Then go have fun because studying doesnt start until june anyways.

Congrats! What is the required score for New Mexico? What is the process of getting admitted there even though you didn't pass for the state you sat for the exam in? Does this change anything employment wise for you or do you now broaden your search in to New Mexico?
I think Montana has a low threshold for passing the UBE. I know a few people who were going to seek being admitted in that state.

New Mexico requires a 260. That's a full 13 points lower than Arizona. The MBE killed me. Killed me. I did really well on the written portion but not enough to make up for the abysmal MBE score. Staying at my job. Wanted to be licensed so I could qualify for general counsel roles in healthcare. The process for New Mexico is writing a big check, taking a class in New Mexico law, character and fitness, MPRE, etc. All outlined nicely on their web page but I found the NCBEX site a lot more helpful.
