Passed CT Bar... 117/200 on Barbri Simulated MBE scored around 75% on other question sets. Felt like the actual MBE was nothing like the Qs Barbri gave us to prep with. got a 144 on MBE

Just got my score advisories from IL.
Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar wrote:Based on DC’s scaled score requirement of 133, I am pleased to advise that you are eligible to transfer your Illinois MBE score to DC. Based on Minnesota’s scaled score requirement of 145 and on North Dakota’s scaled score requirement of 150, I am also pleased to advise that you are eligible to transfer your Illinois MBE score to Minnesota and North Dakota.
So all I know is my MBE scale is 150+.
I got a 124/200 on my Barbri full day simulation and a 64/100 on the refresher.

P.S. now I really wish I know if it is 150 or 190...

Passed MN. We don't get our scaled MBE. Passed NY last summer with 139. Took Themis last summer and was around 65% on MBE the whole time. Did not take a course this summer but bought BarMax App. Did about 1000 PQs and was around 65-70% (the lack of Civ Pro Qs when you only study with "real" questions was palpable. They were like a foreign language on the exam, even though I'd prepared for essays in that subject).

The spreadsheet is interesting/fun to look at. Thanks for compiling.

that makes me feel better... I hear from PA tomorrow and I was doing terrible on MBE questions all the way through the day before. Really worried. Felt like I crushed the essays though. We get essays weighted higher.

Long time lurker as well, but wanna help folks who are still playing the waiting game. Just found out I passed in CO with 150 scaled mbe and 156 scaled written!!! I took Kaplan got a 128 on the midterm, 132 on the final, and was consistently in the 65-75% range on subjects. After the first day I felt really unsure on the essays/mpt because I felt like I might have missed a number of issues. Felt really bad about the second day because (1) it was hard as fuck, (2) I couldn't remember if I had a string of D's or whatever, and (3) in both sessions I noticed that my bubbling was off and last second tried to fix it but didn't know if I got everything. All and all Chris Fromm was right about the 15-20 point increase, and Kaplan might not have been so bad.

I passed the Colorado UBE. 141 Scaled MBE.

I worked full time in a non-Legal profession while studying for the bar. I completed about 50% of the BarBri course.

Midterm: 120. Averaged 65% on the individual sections and repeated questions I already took multiple times. I did all the BarBri AMPs. 70% on the Final and earned a141 on the MBE. I expected the type of questions I received since I also purchase and completed the NCBEX practice tests. I don't remember having a string of D's. The morning was harder and the afternoon was easier. I guessed on maybe ten questions, had a fair number where I could narrow it down to just two.

Sad Story: Scores were released at 10:00am this morning. Its now 9:00ish PM and I finally got the nerve to check.

A note to help those still waiting:

This was my second bar exam in a new state, so I had a decent baseline for what the MBE feels like. Unlike my first exam (which I passed easily and walked out knowing I did), I felt awful about the MBE. I did OK on the Kaplan materials. I was getting 75% or so on the quizzes and practice exams, but the real test felt like it had 30-50 total curveballs. I did not have the string of Ds, like other high scorers have said they had. All of the close questions I remembered I looked up later and had gotten wrong. Blah blah blah.

I got a 174 scaled.

I appreciate the feedback... feeling like the MBE is why I will fail. I'm getting PA today. I just envision every time I corrected my own practice MBE questions and I would only get half right.

That feedback is really helpful for me too, also getting PA today after 4:00pm. I just can't stop thinking about how I ran out of time during one of the MBE sessions and didn't get to answer five questions at the end.

Passed in NH. Never been so relieved in my life. This is what I said about the MBE right after the exam.
I wasn't killing the practice Qs but was doing well enough I felt positive about it going in.....

I thought the MBE was ridiculous. Coming from someone who did Kaplan, I thought the questions seemed very different and much more difficult. Honestly, there was only a few questions each session where I felt very confident on. And there were a lot more complete guesses than usual.

Again, I was only averaging around 60-65% in practice so far from a top performer. But I thought this was significantly more difficult.
And I DEFINITELY did not kill the essays. In fact, those were by far weaker in practice. Felt like I killed the MPT, for what that's worth. NH does not release scores so who knows how I did. But all that matters is that I passed.

Oh, and FTR I had the infamously long string of Ds on the AM portion.

How much did you pay for these advisories?

I heard that it was $25 a state, so totally $75?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
