I am not proud of how much Halloween candy I have been stress eating throughout this process.

I'm sure they've had a few. It's like the kid in college asking for extra credit at the end of the semester after the prof said "DO NOT ASK FOR EXTRA CREDIT."

Eh, @#% them. When they learn to not be one of the last states in the country to release results, then I'll feel a little more sympathetic.

I mean, my buddies in California have to wait until November 21st. It makes me feel a little better. The bigger the state, the longer results will take to post.

But the California results are at least private. I mean, no one else can see your shame if you fail. At least that state has gotten one thing right.

I didn't mind until NY and NJ, which are typically mid-Nov., released like 3 weeks early. Plus, TX got them out by Halloween last year. They need to hurry up.

Texas did get them out Oct. 31st last year, but the target day was Nov. 1st. I'm not sure what the criteria is to determine the release day, but at least they are some what consistent.

I just tried to explain all this to a partner, and he laughed at me. I think they like me enough to give me a second bite at the apple if things go south--at least I hope so :|

Yes yes, but there are more important things at stake. Like I bet the other clerk in my division a pumpkin spice latte that results would post on Wednesday rather than Thursday.

My co-clerks got their bar results in September. Sigh.

Yeah, we're all good so far. And there's not too much pressure on me since I'll be clerking for a while. Just don't want to tell my judge that I failed, since I had to request a week off from him/her in July and don't want to have to ask for another week in Feb.

Of course, that depends on whether it's a tall or a trenta.

I'm sweating if I'll pass and even if I do there will be an asterisk after my name because background is not scheduled to be done until "by December 1." I dont know if I have to go to a hearing or if I'll get a probationary or what. And that's if I even pass. July 2014 was my 2nd attempt.

How did you survive law school without this knowledge?

It's a big ass coffee. 31 oz., even though "trenta" means 30. A godsend.

You can fit a whole bottle of wine in one of those suckers. With room.

I drank black coffee by the gallon, but I made most of it at home because Starbucks is spendy. Also our cafe had bottomless coffee.

So... If your name would alphabetically appear first under a given letter-- do those people essentially find out early if they passed? If those first names that appear are actual test takers who passed? *stomach lurches* Guess I won't be eating anything for the next 24 hours!
