Nooooooo chance I can wait until after work to check the results. I'm definitely going to turn off my phone and Apple Watch, though, to avoid seeing any texts from people about results.Estecontre wrote:You should just do what I did last time around when I was at work. I turned off my phone so that no one would bother me and I wouldn't see the e-mails when I was at work. I waited until after work to turn it back on and find out then. I didn't turn it off the whole day though, I waited until like mid-day and would read the forums until people "in the know" would talk about results being imminent then I turned it off.jts723 wrote:I've been at work for an hour and haven't gotten shit done. Understandable. I'm about to turn off mine and close this page so I can make it through my half-day of work without being too distracted and in the case that I get bad news I can be alone. Hahaha.jts723 wrote:Nooooooo chance I can wait until after work to check the results. Anyone know how long it was last year or in February that the actual results were posted once the link was up?

Who is just refreshing over and over?
Hopefully we don't have the same problem that D.C. had this year (where the site crashed.)

Don't refresh the link that ends "Not Available." The actual link should be https://ble.texas.gov/pass-list-july-2017

Re: July 2017 Texas Bar Exam
My e-mail states that I received it at 4:41, but I'm in mountain time and I turned off my phone in the afternoon so I wouldn't get distracted. The first time I took it in July I got results around 11 here, so before noon everyone else in Texas.bronco1769 wrote:Anyone know how long it was last year or in February that the actual results were posted once the link was up?

I passed the February bar. I remember once the hyperlink was posted, the top of the next hour was when the results could be accessed.bronco1769 wrote:Anyone know how long it was last year or in February that the actual results were posted once the link was up?

Re: July 2017 Texas Bar Exam
If you use firefox, you can add the extension "check4change" (it requires a restart of your browser after).
Once you've installed it:
1) Open https://ble.texas.gov/pass-list-july-2017
2) Select the text "The page you requested was not found. Please check the URL and try again."
3) Right click (or ctrl-click on mac) and select "check for change > check every 5 seconds"
It will continue to reload the page until the selected text goes away, which it will when they load the actual results. (Check4Change stops reloading once the change is detected)
If you don't use firefox, I've got a feeling you're already downloading it now.

Re: July 2017 Texas Bar Exam
For the other people constantly refreshing, Chrome has an extension called "Auto Refresh Plus" that will refresh any page(s) you want at any interval you want automatically so you don't have to be doing it yourself. There's also an extension called "Page Monitor" that gives you a desktop notification/chime if anything on the page changes at all. So I have both of those setup on the pass-list page so that I'm not constantly having to check myself
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
