Well that was fucking brutal. Let's hear it to NY BOLE for saving the best for last.
My thought process throughout the test:
2 DR questions, real cool thanks a lot
What the fuck letters of administration? Out of everything you could test us on Wills that's what you go with?
TIL that Eavesdropping is a crime
Also TIL that Negligent Entrustment is apparently a thing
A fucking *con law* question? Well isn't that just the cherry on top of this shit sundae

Totally a con law question!
I was like, oh shit, this is admin law, and I don't know admin law.
So I took a chance and ran with con law. I've heard other people say they did the same.
But yeah, I had never even heard of letters of whatever until today.

If #5 was ConLaw, I'm definitely fucked. I included both ConLaw and Admin, but heavy on the Admin...

Re: NY July 2015 Support Group
I was heavy on the admin law as well and only discussed con law to the extent of, "She has a property interest and is thus entitled to procedural due process through a pre-termination hearing."Barbarbara wrote:If #5 was ConLaw, I'm definitely fucked. If you make rules, can you still get some points ?
Is it that hard to reach a five?

Yes-ish. It's not a solid 1-100 scale, but more like a 3-7 scale. So sound intelligible, and you will get close to a 7 than a 3.victortsoi wrote:major question, do you get points for arguing wrong law? Are we sure about that? Please tell me yes.

Re: NY July 2015 Support Group
That was rough. I wrote each essay like a champ but I either messed up or guessed on SO many rules/issues.
I also went over on an essay and had to guess on like 45 of the MC; AND I didn't finish the MPT (or format it nicely).
Hopefully my writing gets me solid points and I murk the MBE tomorrow.
NY really shit on us with the Admin essay right before they go UBE.

Does it really count if they gave us the elements of the crime? That was so odd.dietcoke0 wrote:But that one minor trespass question!Barbarbara wrote:Hilarious that admin was tested and barely any Crim tho

I think it was a question that the hallway is not a "dwelling" If not, I wrote a ton of words for no reason.xlawschoolhopefulx wrote:Does it really count if they gave us the elements of the crime? I think they only gave the mental state.xlawschoolhopefulx wrote:Does it really count if they gave us the elements of the crime? That was so odd.dietcoke0 wrote:But that one minor trespass question!Barbarbara wrote:Hilarious that admin was tested and barely any Crim tho
I think what they wanted was the elements of a crime, actus reus, mens rea (provided), concurrence and no justification, at least thats what I went with because it seemed too easy.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
