random last-minute freakout legal question:
If you get divorced, do you then have testamentary control over your half of the CP that you were awarded in the divorce?

You always have testamentary control over your own half of CP. post-divorce it's SP.alicen wrote:random last-minute freakout legal question:

Congrats all, you did it! Well done!
Remember feeling overwhelmed two weeks into study? Thinking this moment was never going to come? Now you know that you can do anything if you try! Or something like that.
Now to await the ensuing ennui... the guilt of going on expensive trips when results aren't even out and you're pretty sure that CACP question boned you... and the relentless anxiety and agony that stir in the loin of your heart in the week before results drop on you...

PT and Essay Gods were looking after us today. Anyone think that last PT was pretty straight forward? (or did I fuck up? or miss something?)

Welp, it's over. I think it could go either way for me, 50/50 chance. Today went well, especially Essays 5/6 and the PT. Pretty much polar opposite of Tuesday where I don't feel good about Essays 2/3 and especially feel real shitty about the PT. The MBEs I just have no clue. Oh well, out of my control now. November 18 is going to be a nervous day, do not want to do this again.

I think I wrote 3 times more for this PT than Tuesday's, lol. And it was much better written. I have similar feelings as you do unless I missed something as well.Sunny1211 wrote:PT and Essay Gods were looking after us today. Anyone think that last PT was pretty straight forward? thought I was doing mediocre until today especially with that PM MBE.
Feeling very good now. 4,5,6 very fair. No curveballs.
PT was cool too.

Essay/PT gods were definitely on our side today.
Does anyone remember what the third subquestion to #3 on PT was? I don't care but its just annoying that I can't remember it already lol
Don't post it here, PM me.
Congrats everyone!

Likewise, definitely this one was much more coherent, not a bunch of jibberish I wrote on the first one.... Now let the curve gods be with us lolSpartan_Alum_12 wrote:I think I wrote 3 times more for this PT than Tuesday's, lol. And it was much better written. Today was mega fair indeed cept maybe the immunity bit?
And yet I still managed to forget the relevant PR stuff despite reviewing PR super heavily last night / knowing it was literally the only fully guaranteed subject today

Re: July 2016 California Bar Exam
Agree today was better. With that said, MBE was very difficult and discouraging.
Assume that missed two (possibly more) issues on Essay 6 (but think I had good analysis on issues addressed), incorrect on the first sub point of essay 1, possibly incorrect on the other CA subpoint in Essay 1, and maybe one sub point on Essay 5 (haven't looked back yet), any chance of passing assuming average MBE and decent PTs?

There were a few parts in both of the first two essays where I wasn't sure about the law and basically just made it up. But all in all, today was much better than Tuesday.
So relieved it's all over! Hope it's over forever!

Re: July 2016 California Bar Exam
Anyone have any guesses if I'll get credit for something when I totally didn't finish reading the question, yet I still discussed it and answered it, without knowing I had to address it?
Essentially, I must have glanced over the second half of Essay 4 question 2, and didn't even notice the 11th amendment part. But in answering about standing and all that jazz, I said something to the effect, "It's important to note that a state cannot be sued by a citizen blah blah blah, however an appropriate state official can be sued, so as it stands now they would need to drop the state and sue only the AG and the city."
I didn't dedicate a heading to it or set up the issue, but I hit it within standing analysis. Points, or nah?
