If it didn't, it would mean they are changing up their process from previous tests, for whatever reason.

I'm not planning any celebration at this point, once you've failed the bar exam, you pretty much don't expect to pass. I made that mistake the second time, and my reaction to failing was....let's say not positive, haha. (It involved day drinking, and fair amount of freak out).

So now I'm just preparing to fail, that's me though, I'd be surprised if any of you guys also fail.

I'll smoke the cigar pass or fail. I've lived 26 years being a not-lawyer and I've had a pretty good life, so I'll be OK.

I'm not planning a celebration either. I try not to even think about life after passing...just in case.

That's a good mentality to approach it with, I like it.

My "celebration" is going to be getting a good night's sleep for the first time in weeks. Sweet relief.

Notice I said cigar. Not cigar, then party like Kanye West until 7am. Just cigar. Maybe classical music, then in bed by 11.

A good night's sleep would be a welcomed thing for me as well.

I'm at a small firm, so I'll probably give a celebratory shout to everyone. Then I might take the rest of the day off.

Regardless of what happens, I'll probably ask for the rest of the day off and go home. I have a cuban cigar waiting for me as well.

Like many of you, I'll be in bed by 1030-11 because I have work the next day. I imagine, if I pass, that I'll sleep pretty damn good.

If scores will probably be released tomorrow, are they made available tonight at midnight or shortly thereafter? That's how it works in NY.

It sounds like the earliest we can expect scores would be around lunch tomorrow.

This is Texas bureaucracy we're talking about. Don't expect rationality. The Railroad Commission hasn't had anything to do with railroads in 30 years. Tradition is king here.

I guess they could take a cue from the great Texan, Beyonce, and drop the results as a surprise overnight

Like another great Texan would say, "it would be a lot cooler if you did."

ETA: I was trying to find a fitting Star Trek quote but I couldn't. But it's still worth noting that Gene Roddenberry was from Texas. Bet you didn't know that.

I think everyone pretty much leaves the office at 5 here in Texas, haha. :P

Is this how Wendy Davis feels today? Hopeful for a victory, but feeling pretty crappy about the reality of the situation?

I think this is more like what Greg Abbott feels like today. There's a very good chance that things will go exactly as planned, but sometimes things just go sideways.

That is a great point. I needed that.

I've been clicking that link periodically for the past week. I think I'll be more afraid when something actually shows up when I click it.

I'll repeat what to expect for those who didn't see it earlier with this link (unless the bar changed something this time):

You'll reload it at some point and see the same heading as all the other pass lists except it will say "July 2014."

There will be a letter of the alphabet for each last name, same as the other lists, but there will be one name under each letter. These names from the previous test's pass list, so don't freak out when you see the one name.

Once a full list with all names are posted, that is the pass list.

Could Texas BLE possibly make this process any more stressful?

They could give you a release date and then have a habit of releasing it a day early. Unless they release it two days early. Or maybe release it exactly when they said they would.

Oh. Wait.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
