How did you do on the essays versus how you felt? (if you don't mind me asking). Would love to hear the same from anybody who got their scores back today.cph4life wrote:I had a 115 raw score on the Barbri midterm vs. a 154 scaled on the actual examovxsny27 wrote:What was your mbe? They give you Scaled Scores for both the MBE and Essays, which they then combine for your final scaled score.Maxd3316 wrote:When you say score breakdown, did they give you your MBE and essays or just your total score? I'm still hoping the Monday online post-date is all a cruel joke and they'll post it at COB today. Making us wait seems like some sad form of punishment, as if the exam wasn't punishment enough. Also, would be nice to cry into my martini over the weekend then come Monday at work.

The Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners retained the services of the National Conference of Bar Examiners to conduct an investigation, to determine whether there was any negative impact on the performance of examinees due to the occurrence of the noise on the afternoon of July 29, 2015, during the administration of the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) at the Boston test site.
The National Conference of Bar Examiners conducted a thorough analysis of the morning and afternoon performance on the MBE, comparing the difference of the afternoon raw scores to the morning raw scores for examinees seated in Hall A and Hall B (John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center) in comparison to the difference in the afternoon raw scores to the morning raw scores found in the rest of the country.
The outcome of this analysis of the Massachusetts results of the July 2015 MBE indicates that the afternoon performance of the examinees at the Boston test site was not adversely affected by the reported noise issue. Average scores were higher in the afternoon than the morning for both the examinees seated in Hall A and Hall B and for those examinees seated in the rest of the country. The average increase in scores in the afternoon for examinees in Hall A and Hall B was almost identical to the increase in the afternoon for the rest of the country. Due to the findings of the report by the National Conference of Bar Examiners, the Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners can confirm the validity of the July 2015 Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) score that all examinees achieved.

Re: MA BAR EXAM WAITING
Website now says "The names of those who passed the written portion of the July 2015 bar examination are posted on the Bar Exam Pass List ." but when you click on the link it still has the Feb. list. Are they trying to drive us crazy? just had my bf look at the list thinking it was July and he told me I failed. Almost started crying until I double checked.

Edit: For those who are curious, scaled MBE of 137.6 and I felt like crap about it leaving Day1 (edit: fixed excited typos)
