They aren't in mine. Only the Mixed Sets 1-7, and then the practice questions by subject sets
Thanks for checking - I did not find them there either!

Are you looking for the "goal score"? I think that's in the front of the MPQ book.

LOL does anyone come here totally prepared to ask a question asking for an explanation of something tripping them up, yet answer your question writing the specifics of the post xD

Thank you. Def appreciate it. Its nothing in particular..just frustrated with the late set Barbri questions and how the correct answer always seems to turn on an obscure nuance.

You have a question in particular that frustrated you? I did alright on that set, so maybe I can shed some light.

Everyone is doing MBE sets and practice essays, and I'm sitting here outlining.

I'm sitting here staring at the same 50 questions that need to be reviewed (in hopes that they review themselves), for the past few hours.

You are being much more productive than I am, I promise. :D

Well played. I'm planning to take one tonight… definitely could use some good news after 8/18 and 9/18 on the last two torts MPQs.

Agreed. I've heard they get progressively more difficult from set 1 to set 6? Hope thats correct, otherwise i've just been getting progressively worse at life.

Yes. The questions are obnoxiously difficult in the higher numbered sets

All right, so, I need some advice from ya'll.

I got a 122 on the simulated and a 55 on the Refresher. I don't feel like I'm improving at all. Right now I'm hating life and panicking.

I think what I should do is just memorize the barbri lecture outlines until game day and hope for the best.

Can anyone help? I'm a bundle of nerves.

The Refresher is supposed to be very difficult and your score is right around the average, so I wouldn't let that get you down. Your score on the simulated is higher than the average. I think you are in good shape and shouldn't hate life or panic lol.

I'm taking the Refresher Friday and fully expect that it will eat me alive lol

Just took Ks set 5. I hate that shit so much. Some of the answers and explanations made no sense at all.

Barbri's goal for that set was a 50%. Considering they get progressively harder and test more nuance laws and exceptions, take your score with a grain of salt. The 27+ questions we'll get on the real deal won't all be that obscure.

Anyone else hating life trying to learn real property? :(

Property is the worst. Some of those problems might as well be in hieroglyphics.

I am FUCKING STRESSING OUT NOW. At this point in July I was doing literally like 10 essays a day (so 10 hours of work, since it was CA) and reading/re-reading my outlines over and over. Now, I have to work all day and then when I get home I get like, 3-4 hours of studying IF THAT. Mentally I feel like I'm spending all day studying because I'm writing and researching all day at work, but I'm only actually getting a few hours in. There's so many new essay topics I need to learn that are totally different because CA doesn't do the fucking MEE and IL does. I don't feel prepared at all and if I don't pass I'm just going to have to do this again over the summer. UUUUGH.

Yes, I'm a repeater.

I took July. I froze up on the contracts question and didn't put anything down. Ended up getting a score of 118 on the MBE.

I'm doing better this time around, but I'm exhausted and frustrated.

Who cut her hand and severed an artery and nerve, and needs a reconstructive surgery done a week before the exam, that's me!

So chill out, people, who have both hands up and running!

While that is fucking TERRIBLE, I have admit that your post made me laugh. Actually laugh. Wasn't sure I was still capable of such things. So, thank you.

It's also a wonderful reminder that things could be a lot worse. The fact that we all get to sit for this exam in the first place should be looked at as a blessing. Sure, I'm freaking that fuck out, and have decided to test some sleep aids since I can't seem to shut my brain off at night, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't have it any other way. We'll all pass (hopefully sooner rather than later), and we're going to be amazing lawyers and do something to actually make a difference in people's lives. Less than 2 weeks left - and we can do ANYTHING for only 2 weeks. Just keep your head down, push through, and we'll be fine.

I look forward to seeing some of you at that glorious finish line. And those I don't see, you'd better believe I'm having a drink in each and every one of your honors.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
