Could it possibly mean you get two emails (for the two letters uploaded) for failed examinees and one email for passing examinees?

Did anybody receive only one email?
I only got one this morning. I think you're going to give the guy above you a scare, because he received two e-mails. I wonder if they were both sent at the same time or different times?
I received two identical e-mails. Both were sent at 7:19 A.M..
This most likely means nothing, but I received my e-mail at 6:25 A.M (I live in mountain time though so it would be 7:25 A.M. everywhere else in Texas). Did they have the same reference number?
I agree with you. It most likely means nothing. Both of my e-mails had two different reference numbers.

Once again, this may be looking way too much into it, but if you you go to your application history, do you see multiple listings? Or just one? This could possibly explain the double e-mail.

I only got one email. I doubt it means anything but being in the apparent minority still makes me uneasy, heh.

1 email @ 7:10 AM. To quote someone on Reddit: "This is the first score release process after transitioning to the ATLAS system. I don't think it's indicative of one result or the other."

As a 3x bar exam veteran, this is a very agonizing week. :( Sigh.

I got two emails with two reference numbers. When I log in it has a start new application button and an upload photo button. Anyone have anything different? I'm a second time bar exam taker and I'm having a mini heart attack.

Same. Two e-mails, two registration numbers, new application and photo buttons. First time TX taker, passed in MA. No idea what to think of this.

I get that we're all neurotic at this point, but I think some of you are reading way too much into this email.

Damn you. This is going to be a looking back point for some of us, we'll look back next time this week and say "so it was true, those that received one e-mail passed and those that received two e-mails failed." Or conversely, "so it was true, those that received two e-mails passed and those that received one e-mail failed."

Kidding aside, yes most of us are reading too much into this e-mail, but what can we say? We've waited this long and we're all hoping this somehow means something when it probably doesn't.

To answer your question, I only see one listing when I click on the history tab on the ATLAS program.

I didn't really think anything of the email I received this morning, I just figured it was part of the transition to the new system... then I came out here and paranoia has set in! I really hope we are just reading too much into this whole email thing. It is probably just a way to further torture us through this agonizing wait, and everyone at the Texas BLE is having a good laugh :D

I think I'll add to the pot of paranoia... I'm a repeat taker and I got one email....

But really guys, BLE has (most likely) already graded the test. If you passed, you already passed. If you failed, you already failed. No way of really knowing until the results are released. Try to relax this last week.

FWIW, last year they also sent an email out on October 27, 2015; see last year's mini freakout here. Mine arrived at 7:44 AM.

We anticipate releasing results for the July 2015 Texas Bar Exam on November 6, 2015. Results will be released 3 ways.

We will mail a hardcopy of your grade release documents to you on the day of they are released, to the address you have on file with us.

In Addition, you used eFast to create your application, you will be able to view your documents by logging in to your eFast account. Please familiarize yourself now with the following procedure, so that you will be able to view your grade release documents in eFast once they are released.
Login in to eFast (efastdirect.ble.state.tx.us)
You will need your eFast username which is: xxxxxxxxx
You will need your eFast password.
We do not know your password and cannot provide it to you.
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking “Forgot Password?” on the eFast home screen or “Forgot your password?” on the eFast login screen.
Three unsuccessful login attempts will lock your account, so if you cannot remember your password, please use the “Forgot Password?” feature.
If you cannot reset your password or if you receive notice that your account has been locked for security purposes, you may contact your licensure analyst for assistance: Contact Us.
After we release results, the eFast login menu page will include a new option to “Read Your Documents.” Choose this option to view your grade release documents. (Please note that the option to “Read Your Documents” will not appear on the eFast login menu page until after we have released the results.)
Your results will remain in your eFast account for 2 weeks. We suggest you download and save these documents as soon as possible.

Finally, when grades are released, we will post a complete pass list on our website under Important Announcements (www.ble.state.tx.us).
Sincerely,
Texas Board of Law Examiners
It seems even with their new system they're staying true to form.

I've been reading this thread for like a week now while I'm going out of my mind. Wish I would have found it sooner. I was a first time taker and I received the two emails with different numbers but at the exact same time. I didn't think anything of it until I checked here. I'm pretty sure my ATLAS page says the same thing as everyone else too. However, the emails are nothing like what happened up in New York

It's cool. I'm one of the lucky ones who only got one email this morning so I'm not worried.

On a side note, did any folks from Texas Law School X get the email from Dean F about the congrats reception in late nov ? Is it possible that the deans already got the list of names and that was a hint? :o (or was that just a general optimistic email, and if you failed, you should just ignore it) :x

For those of you who received one email: had you already previously set up your ATLAS account via the directions in the Oct. 19 email? I received two emails and hadn't previously set up/logged in/activated my ATLAS.

Exactly. But for some, the cat (bar exam) was already dead before we put him in the container.

I already used my atlas account to change my email address before the morning email. That could be the reason for receiving one or two emails.

But it's much more fun to think it's tied to passing and failing.

My understanding is that the law schools do in fact get a notified of pass/fails before students do, but I don't know how much earlier. Are you talking about the "Save the Date" email for the lunch following the state bar induction on Nov 21?

Haha honestly I think that's still a stretch but more of a reason for optimism than the BLE emails. They just posted something about the emails meaning nothing in our Atlas accounts.

"You may have received some e-mail from us earlier today—if so, please disregard it.
We are in the process of preparing your ATLAS account to receive your results when they are released in November, and we inadvertently triggered a cycle of generic system e-mails.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion this has caused as you await your bar exam results. We have not finalized bar exam results yet, and the e-mail you received has nothing to do with your results.
We plan to release scores on November 4, 2016.
For information on how to claim and update your ATLAS account, please see our ATLAS FAQs."
