I know exactly how you feel, my poor mom has been put through the ringer with me lol. And I've been quoting "third times the charm" too. Which is especially annoying, because I told myself if I failed the first time, I would know exactly what to do to pass the next time. And while I think I have been more productive in my studying, I still feel like I am in the same boat ... and now it's filling up with water lol! Well, hope you are doing ok and know you aren't the only one.rcharter1978 wrote:I feel the exact same way. Looking at July 2011, Professional Responsibility essay on bar essay, the 65 that is posted really seems on par with the 75 and 72.5 posted. I'd even say the 65 has better organization, while those 70's just have headers and no separate paragraphs between fact and law. That just seems odd. Anyone else agree?

Re: February 2016 California Bar Exam
This has been discussed many times. Bar examiners don't really have a strict grading criteria. Same essay can net 60 or 75... like it did in my case July 2015. To a large extent it depends on who you get that day and how that bar grader feels.Raiden wrote:Looking at July 2011, Professional Responsibility essay on bar essay, the 65 that is posted really seems on par with the 75 and 72.5 posted. I cannot tell right now whether my essays are passing or not. I am spotting most of the issues and analyzing the facts decently but when I compare to the published answer or the answer in barbri, i lose confidence.. They articulate themselves much better and their essays flow naturally.. Sometimes my essays flow logically but other times I feel like I am lost...Raiden wrote:Looking at July 2011, Professional Responsibility essay on bar essay, the 65 that is posted really seems on par with the 75 and 72.5 posted. I have been thinking about baressay but I am so broke and have spent so much money already on various materials.... Is it worth it??? I feel like seeing some other 65-70 answers will put some things in perspective. Does anyone have some samples they can share??
Thanks and good luck to all

I think the premium Baressays membership is worth it. Not really for the essay feedback, but because of their essay templates and their own unique model answers. If you do sign up for Baressays.com, go for the premium. I know money can be hard though, and two weeks might not be enough time to start Baressays fresh.

I was reviewing Community Property today. and I noticed two things.
1. Marriage of Lucas / Anti-Lucas statute is not covered in Barbri's CMR. Is this not something to be overly concerned about?
2. Marriage of Hum/Nelson formulas are also not covered. There's just a quick blurb about stock options in the CMR.
thoughts?

First, nice Mac Dre pic. Second, sometimes I'll google the first few sentences of an essay if I'm really stuck to see if any answers/outlines pop up. Not always on point, but sometimes I'll find something that helps. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, though.lakers3peat wrote:I cannot tell right now whether my essays are passing or not. These are rather important, but they beat this horse to death (Nelson, stocks etc) in July somewhat, but the Lucas/Anti-Lucas you definitely should have at your fingertips on test day.6TimeFailure wrote:I was reviewing Community Property today. and I noticed two things.

So I was looking through my e-mails and I got hella notices last time about Examsoft but I didn't get any this time. Anyway if you find your admittance ticket, click on the laptop bulletin where eventually you should find this link:Zaizei wrote:Didn't you get an email saying that you could print your admittance ticket?6TimeFailure wrote:Zaizei wrote:As far as I know it has several weeks ago.6TimeFailure wrote:AMCD wrote: These are rather important, but they beat this horse to death (Nelson, stocks etc) in July somewhat, but the Lucas/Anti-Lucas you definitely should have at your fingertips on test day.

No, the only email I ever got from the bar was from last November confirming that I registered for the exam. I just checked the bar website, and I am indeed registered to take the test, and my admittance ticket is ready. I wonder why I never got any emails?

Yes...I tried both just in case...nada. I was on hold with their support line for 15 minutes, had to hang up. Just sent them an email. Now I am stressed.MrMustache wrote:You are using your Registration File #, and not Applicant Number, right?6TimeFailure wrote:SOMETHING IS SCREWED UP!!! No one's at exam soft to handle support issues. It's been an hour since I emailed and tried to call them. Nothing. If they don't respond within 24 hours, I am going to contact the bar.

OMG I'm so sorry... Usually they have a live chat with someone that can help you with these kind of problems. Maybe you didn't get the email because it was marked as spam?6TimeFailure wrote:No one's at exam soft to handle support issues. It's been an hour since I emailed and tried to call them. Nothing. There are a million things to worry about, this is not one I would spend a moments time worrying about. No way to they just screw you on downloading Examsoft, someone will get back to you. If you're really worried, contact the bar now and just get it over with. Its like 2pm and they actually seem helpful (unwillingly helpful...but helpful)6TimeFailure wrote:No one's at exam soft to handle support issues.
