You're probably getting better on identifying the common wrong answers. As for me, I got a 14/18 on Torts set A (yeah!) and a 9/18 on Torts set B (boo!).jd20132013 wrote:property set 4![]()

Lol, I had the exact same experience (overperformed on Torts Set A and underperformed on set B). I wonder if that's happened for othersditch digger wrote:You're probably getting better on identifying the common wrong answers. I'm totally regretting my decision to take employment discrimination over commercial paper. I'm just happy that my 2L self had the foresight to sign up for secured transactions.beachbum wrote:I took it in law school, but commercial paper is just killing me today. I'm calling it a night, because nothing seems to be sticking. Hoping for better results tomorrow.
Also, when this is done, I'm going to drink until I can't remember any of this.
I took a course that was sort of a hybrid between secured transactions and commercial paper. The secured transactions part I'm not having much trouble with, but the commercial paper rules (at least, the more technical ones) I seem to read on the paper and instantly forget.ditch digger wrote:I'm totally regretting my decision to take employment discrimination over commercial paper. On the plus side, taking evidence even as a corporate-minded law student is turning out to be one of the better decisions I made in law school.
If I had it to do again, I would ignore the schedule and do the lecture analyses today and tomorrow, exactly because it is fresh in your mind. I did one lecture that same day (my weakest) and it was helpful. By Saturday when I was listening to the other lectures, I was like, yeah this seems obvious, I'm not sure what I was thinking when I marked that wrong answer. I guess I was just tired.plath wrote:Just finished and couldn't bring myself to sellf-grading yet. Wondering if I should go over the explanations today or do other stuff. It is fresh in mind now but it also might just be a waste of time as there are lectures this weekend analyzing the whole thing.

I thought the same thing, however he does drop some nuggets of useful information regarding MBE tips such as, 10th Amendment answers being wrong 95% of the time, and other similar tips. Some I already knew, some were golden. I found the real property MBE analysis videos to be the least useful, while torts, Crim, and Con-law being the most useful (in that order)aquasalad wrote:I agree re: commercial paper. It is not very intuitive.
Are you all watching the Barbri MBE analysis lectures? I just started the Con Law one and could only put up with about 20 minutes of the guy glossing over the answers. I'll try the other lectures, but I feel like my time would be better spent reviewing the questions using the printed answer explanations in the test booklet.
Thanks, these were my thoughts. However, I'm now seeing how incredibly behind I am on the PP and it kinda freaks me out. Also, I have found there is some value in spacial intervals studying (some crap about going back and forth to the material helping memorization)pkt63 wrote:If I had it to do again, I would ignore the schedule and do the lecture analyses today and tomorrow, exactly because it is fresh in your mind. And I probably wasn't. I probably had some genius theory (in my own mind) about why I marked that answer, but I had since forgotten. Which is a shame, because since I didn't do it in time to explicitly contradict my genius theory, I'll probably end up subconsciously returning to those kinds of thing again.

I had really bad headaches after each 3hr session. When the real thing comes, I'll probably take ibuprofen prior to the sets.plath wrote:That said, the exam today left me completely and utterly exhausted. Unable to do anything today.
Enter your scantron manually on the barbri site. How can you make a 138 and not figure that out?smellylawstudent wrote:138 on simulated mbe. How do I tell what the percentiles are and what is good?

I got a 138 as well. It's 89th percentile (at least it was before more barbri students took their simulated MBE today).smellylawstudent wrote:138 on simulated mbe. How do I tell what the percentiles are and what is good?
Ok. Thanks. I haven't been using barbri.com really. I have been relying on books / in class.aquasalad wrote:Enter your scantron manually on the barbri site. You did really well. I got 118 correct, 60%tile according to barbri.com after studying 3 weeks.
Ok. Thank you. It still doesn't show for me. I am guessing it takes 1 day to update.nonprofit-prophet wrote:I got a 138 as well.
