Perhaps they hid notes in their shoe or something and took it out in the bathroom. Another way is maybe they snuck a phone in and went to the bathroom to text someone who was also taking it and they kept going back and forth. IDK.
The people that got caught were most likely peeping at their neighbors test materials.

The bathroom thing struck me as most likely. Like, maybe they put lean sheets or one page outlines down the waistband of their pants. Enter the bathroom, read the rules. Crazy stuff like that. Still, I wouldn't have time for that, nor would it ever be worth it IMO.

Do we actually know if anyone was busted for cheating? Seems pretty dumb to spend 120k+ in student loans to blow it all away for the chance of passing the bar. Plus I think the time constraints alone would defeat the purpose of getting up to cheat.

I didn't hear about it until I read through this thread so I guess I'm not positive but someone a few pages back said 5 people got caught cheating.

At this point I'm most worried that I screwed up something administrative, like that I was supposed to put my file number rather than badge number on the MBE stuff.

I'm getting weird about the MBE. The more time that passes, the more I feel like I might have messed up. Trying to forget this though by reminding self this is a curved exam and many others feel bad/worse than I do.

The waiting is the worst. I sometimes think I did fine but other times I am thinking I might have failed. Ugh.

I had a dream that I got my bar results and passed despite failing one essay. Weirdly moderate result for a dream, eh

If you took Barbri, you cannot blame them for the FL multiple choice. Barbri had most, if not all, the answers in their handouts. The Board, however, tested the fine print but that's not Barbri's fault.

Barbri nailed the Fl bar last year too.

That seems to be the case again this year. I can recall only two questions that Barbri did not explicitly discussed in their handouts. Does anyone know how the Board break the score down for FL? Is there a specific score for the MC or just an average of Essay + MC?

Has anyone received C&F clearance this summer? I was a fool and turned my stuff in about two weeks before the deadline and haven't had any correspondence other than my Dean Certification in two months....

I've heard nothing other than a request for law school transcripts. Also turned it in right before the deadline.

I turned in my stuff in November at the recommendation of my employer, and they sent me notification of "preliminary" C&F clearance in about February.

I was similar. I did it in October, got prelim clearance in very early January, and just updated by letting them know my grad assistant gig ended + addy change.
Side bar: I'm not looking forward to Sept 15th onward. It's going to feel like forever. I read about some girl I know on facebook who has failed for the third time. I feel for her. I wouldn't announce results either way, but that sucks. Bah. Hate the bar. I successfully forgot about it until all of the NC hullabaloo.

Does anyone know what the FL Supreme Court website looks like? I heard you search by your bar exam ID number, then there are 3 columns: Florida, MBE, and Overall. And you get "pass" or "fail" for each column. Does that sound right? Cuz I'm thinking I got a great big "fail" for the FL portion but maybe passed MBE and therefore could either pass or fail the whole thing

Also, what kind of letter do they send out if you decide to just wait for the letter? Is it skinny if you pass and fat if you fail, or vice versa? Some states send a fat packet if you pass because they're sending a bunch of welcome stuff and directions to a swearing in, copy of ethics rules, etc. Some states send a fat packet it you fail because they're sending info about reapplying to take the dang thing again.

One more question: why did some people have a letter on yellow paper to check in at the FL bar exam? I had a white card. Does that mean anything?

I took Themis and felt like most of the corporations questions were not actually addressed in the outline or lectures. But then again, I didn't give that topic the attention I should have. I felt better about evidence and civ/crim pro but not great. Both of those topics also covered stuff that I swear was not included in the outline or lectures!

Still haven't heard from C&F. It's pretty ridiculous that they set a deadline and can't process applications to coincide with the release date.

What was the last correspondence? A lot of people I know got the "you're not cleared, but nothing in and of itself disqualifies you" letter. Buddy of mine got that last year and he was cleared to practice when the results came out.

You got the website part right
It's 3 columns and the third Column is overall pass fail
So don't worry as long as the last column says pass
Be sure to hold up a paper so you can follow the line across the page; last yr it was all text with no tables or anything
You get a skinny letter if u pass
Last yr I got a letter from Rick Scott too congratulating me for passing

Isn't there a fourth column that says if you can practice law or something similar? Maybe I heard incorrectly.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
