Not a bad idea. Is eating waffles on the list?

I wouldn't freak out this week guys, you'll have plenty of time for that starting next Monday. This week, if you're not working, do something to distract yourselves. Binge watch a TV show, do some home projects, things like that. Hey, we even get to enjoy Halloween this year.

Try to relax everyone.

So New York just released quite early. Any expectations that Texas might too?

The thing about Texas is that they are consistent about releasing around 1-2PM the day before the release date, however the release date is usually Nov. 1st/May 1st for each test. Maybe there are more takers this year, maybe it's something else. I'm not going to start worrying about it till Monday though, I'd be shocked if they came out before then.

Remember, I gave the URL for the pass list, they will have the pass list format on it before they release the full list, so you'll know they are within a couple of days when that drops.

I've been reading the latest posts on the NY bar thread... someone passed with a 129 on the MBE. I want to be relieved/hopeful about this. But I feel more anxious. :(

127...I guess they're not releasing raw scores this year but in previous years that's probably around 108 raw, right?

If you think about it, if you're a little above passing on P&E, MPT, and Essays, you could F up the MBE pretty badly and still be in OK shape:

Say:

145 scaled Essay (just above usual average for TX takers, I think)
70 MPT
70 P&E

290+70+70= 430

675-430=245

245/2= 122.5 scaled MBE to pass, which is probably around 102 raw in previous years. I'm thinking MBE may be scaled anywhere from a little to a lot more this year if they're not even releasing raw scores.

The Texas Board of Law Examiners says that results for the July 2014 exam will be published on November 6. Traditionally the BLE has the pass list posted on or before November 1. I recommend that anxious examinees check the BLE sight regularly between 10/30 and 11/05. Good luck to all takers. Any repeat takers, especially those from out of state law schools, who need more clarity on the Texas Essay subjects should take the one-day Texas Essay Workshop in Dallas, Houston or San Antonio.

That sounds like torture. I'll be checking on November 5th at noon or one o'clock.

I would say it's a 75% chance it's coming out on November 5th around 1-2. Like I've said before, at the pass list URL you'll see them add the heading and information along with each letter for the names and a place holder name under each letter (from the previous test's pass list) before they release the actual pass list. I think I've usually seen it the day before the list is released, but it might be 2 or 3 days.

I'm going to check a little on Friday, but I won't really worry til next week. They aren't going to post them on the weekend, so enjoy your Halloween!

Plus, the OP suggesting checking 10/30-11/5 is trying to sell something it looks like. He doesn't even spell "site" correctly.

They only send out that little card that says that the target date is November 6th, but that's not necessarily the actual date they will come out, it almost never is, it's almost always the day before the target day.

No. I assure you, you are not the only one. I've been checking religiously all week. I can't help myself. It's a compulsion.

http://www.ble.state.tx.us/ExaminationI ... 14July.htm --TxBarTaker posted it. I also refresh the BLE page quite a bit.

Ready for this to be over.
