I'm usually booking it right before the 15 minute mark. When I go back and 'review' my answers, I tend to outsmart myself.

I am also AMAZED at the people who left the MBE after 2 hours in the afternoon or just before 2 hours. I don't know what they're smoking or on, but I'd like to know what it was. They need to get rid of the early leaving policy; it's distracting seeing a flow of people leave and hearing them rustle with their shit to leave the exam room and hearing the doors open and close constantly.

I did that. 2.5 hours on the first part. A little over 2 hours on the second part. I can't help myself. I give the best answer I can on each question, don't rush myself on any of the questions, and still have plenty of time. I'm a very fast and accurate reader. Plus, if you leave early you don't have to deal with the droves of people that all leave at the same time. Yesterday was logistical hell. Today was smooth sailing.

The 15 minute policy is in place to avoid what you are talking about. I can just imagine a bunch of people living in the last crucial minutes of an exam when people are trying to crunch.

Yeah, I left an hour early for the morning session and about fifty minutes early for the afternoon session. I didn't rush or anything, I'm just a fast reader/processor. Unfortunately my processing speed doesn't mean that I'm any more likely to get right. It just means that I arrive at the answer my brain thinks is right pretty quickly.

Anyway, I second what everyone has been saying about the MBE being tougher than expected with questions on extreme nuances/shit I have NEVER heard of (and I read all of the damn long outlines) plus questions with just enough facts to narrow it down to two choices but not enough facts to actually land on one answer. Ugh, I'm so wrecked and tired I don't even care anymore. I just hope I passed.

Yeah, I also preferred the afternoon. I felt like there was a lot of con law in the morning, which has never been my strength.

What really got me was the absence of many important facts in a lot of the questions. This MBE totally sucked.

I agree. There were also some questions where I knew the answer, and it wasn't a choice! There was a question with a very similar pattern to a themis question I got wrong, so I knew exactly what the issue was - wasn't there.

I'm nervous that so many people thought the PM session was harder. I thought it was much more straightforward. Does everyone get them in the same order?

Another vote here for thinking the AM session was significantly harder than the PM session.

Also there were people leaving like an hour early each session at my thing. Idk where they were trying to get to.

Speaking as someone that left after 2 hours both sessions, I would have gone insane looking over the exam for a third time.

THIS. ONE MILLION TIMES THIS. I would try to do the thing where I decide the answer before looking at the answer choices and there were more times than I was comfortable with where the answer I came up with was just not listed. So, I ended up trying to figure lot which of the provided answer options was closest to what I thought of/would be the closest if I assumed the facts the question/answers didn't bother to mention. Damn.

100% correct. I might reach an answer faster than someone else but for all I know I got around 50% of them correct. Going back and reviewing the answers isn't going to improve this.

I did 61% + 850 Adaptibar questions. So that equals about 70-75% if I did it them on Themis.

I should have done more practice essays on Themis. That's my only regret.

I did 100% because I figured it would make me feel good and like I did as much as I could to be prepared. Now that I'm done, I don't think anything would have really prepared me haha.

Do we know whether everyone gets the same experimental Qs? I'm with the folks who think AM was much tougher.

For me, the morning MBEs were MUCH more difficult - usually I have lots of time left, and this time I didn't.

Yeah, I finished the am with about five minutes left and I still had 11 questions that I was just slapping an answer on because I really had no idea at all.

The pm, I finished with about 45-50 minutes left and I had 3 or 4 such questions.

Do we know whether everyone gets the same experimental Qs? I'm with the folks who think AM was much tougher.

There were either 2 civ pro questions on one part or I'm a complete idiot. It's a 50/50 proposition there

Why 42%? What state? I know you go to a prefistigous school but that's still risking it.
