Also I think I forgot to post in here that I passed Michigan with Themis. Simulated MBE was 129, scaled MBE on test day was 156. I did 20 points better on the MBE than on essays even though I thought essay day went much better.

Two more weeks for MD results (11/4 at 4:30pm exactly) and I'm starting to get nervous!

Just wanted to throw in that I was happy with Themis for Virginia, but Virginia doesn't release individual scores unless you fail. So I'll never know how I truly did, but it was enough to pass! Finished about 95% of the course "officially," but only bulleted the state essays in the last few weeks (had a different tutor for essays).

Took Themis for IL. Passed.

Overall really happy with Themis. I really liked the format of the lectures. I did 99% of the program though I actually probably skipped a couple practice essays and MPTs. Felt prepared for the most part.

So, we have all seen stories about the people who do best on the bar exam are the ones who were "sure" they failed. Any opposite stories? I don't feel like "I killed it" but I do feel reasonably confident. I have gotten so into my head about it that I am wishing I felt like I bombed so I could feel better about passing. If that is not the stupidest thing I have ever written than I don't know what is... such is the life of waiting for bar results I guess.

I thought I absolutely killed it on my essays in PA and I ended up only scoring right around the mean. I was pretty surprised; still passed by a wide margin because of my MBE, but still.

New York here! Passed with 279. Scored 136.4 on MBE! Unfortunately I can't remember what I got on the milestones Sorry!! Would we still be able to access it on Themis?

For what it's worth, I think I completed about 85% of the course and remember not scoring as high on the milestones as others. I was sure I failed the bar when I walked out. Still can't believe it!

Passed NY with a 345, 168.2 MBE!! Completed something like 85% of the course, 142 raw on the midterm.

Passed NY with a 281 (148.9 MBE). Scored 122 raw on Themis practice exam


Editing to say I was super happy with its Themis as well. It really was the "give me what I gotta know" instead of what my friends told me about Barbri. I felt less stressed than my Barbi compatriots and I think a little more (if not a lot more prepared).

I took Themis as a foreign-educated candidate, and didn't supplement its study program with anything else.

I completed about 90% of the program, though towards the end I did just click some of it through. I think I averaged 70% on MBE questions overall, and got a 155 on the simulated exam.

Passed NY with a 300 UBE (152 MBE).

Yeah, I went through that (reasonably sure but not certain) and had the same fear and felt frustrated that this was such a meme. I ended up crushing it. You're fine; don't let the anxiety get to you.

I felt as prepared as possible after the test ended, but I refused to let myself feel confident for fear of jynxing it.

I was recently talking to someone who said he really didn't like Barbri at all and thought the quality of the lectures was terrible. I was pleased with Themis and would recommend it to anyone I know! I can't believe people still take Barbri for the insane cost when a perfectly good course like Themis is available!

Did anyone feel like they bombed all the civ pro MBE questions but still pass?
I just remember thinking Themis didn't go over 70% of the MBE questions, in detail, at least(ie: questions asking about clerk filing timeline, etc.). I had to educationally guess on 70% of the questions

If it were not for Civ Pro MBE, I'd feel okay about this exam....

I definitely did. I kind of feel like some of them had to be experimental because it was some obscure doctrine that I didn't even remember being slightly exposed to. And I LOVE civ pro and fed courts. Like honestly love it so much I decided I wanted to work in government and never heard of the specific BS on that test.
