Longtime lurker, first time poster. Just wanted to say good luck to everyone! This forum has helped me get through a loooooong summer of staring at a computer screen, so, thanks to everyone. See ya'll on the other side.

It was clear but just annoying that the bar is now acting like it's some super important area like pr. Q3 was an agonizing attempt to issue spot for distinctions. Last part of Q3 I think was simpler than I thought based on what others said.

Felt great about the morning essays, but I didn't manage my time well on PT, so I won't really be getting any decent benefit there. The afternoon essays kicked my ass. I could seriously be retaking in February.

You took PA right? I was the opposite....morning was awful. I went over on my PT which screwed up everything and am fairly certain I missed huge issues because I was only writing a few sentences for each questions. Afternoon went well. I was able to write law and apply pretty much everything or at least a good faith effort at bullshitting it. At lunch I was certain I'd be retaking in Feb...but I feel a little more positive after the afternoon.

My state selects its own 6 questions from the 9 drafted by the national board. So a lot of overlap with UBE states.

Wowee, there were some topic surprises to say the least. I'm not sure if it was fatigue or what, but the essays kept getting harder as I went. Mindset went from "nailing this!" to "doing ok" to "omg what is this."

Is anyone else having trouble uploading exam answers to softest? i keep getting error messages but there's nothing wrong with my internet...

Well that was interesting. The essay questions are mostly a blur by now. It was 50/50 whether I knew the right law. Another reason why I will never be giving people on-the-fly legal advice about anything outside my very narrow practice of law (if that).

I killed the MPT. I'm hoping that makes up for my terrible NY MC. If I did median on the essays then I'm in a good place.

Also, I didn't know examsoft kept time during the first session. I had to do everything based purely on training and practice. Fortunately, I finished all the essays and questions with 20 minutes to spare. I'm glad I took all of those practice essays to get a feel for how long it takes to answer them.

If I get 80%, that could make up for a lot. Not sure thats realistic.

MBE is the EASY part. You can literally guess and pass.

This bullshit happens every year. A thousand kids trying to upload at once and they can't handle the volume. Just adds unnecessary stress to the whole thing.
