So I'm not part of the UBE party, but I thought Themis had me pretty well covered for my state's essays. No surprises, and everything felt like stuff I had written before. I got at least one sub-issue wrong in one question, but I definitely got partial credit for describing the rules. No big deal since it's only a few points. It was interesting how stuff sort of came back to me. Weirdly, I never felt time pressured in Themis on essays, but I barely finished in time on both sessions today. I dunno if I was just writing more, or what, but we're talking like I would finish 45 minute essays in 25 minutes, but today I was taking 45 minutes plus on some essays.

Skeptical optimism, Themis, skeptical optimism.

Also, holy crap the crying people at lunch were terrifying to see.

Specifically didn't want corporations or secured transactions - almost funny that that was our first two essays! Meanwhile, those weren't so bad, it was property and con law that kicked my butt! The afternoon was pretty brutal.
First. Two. LOL

When I saw the length of the extract I think I passed out a little bit.
WTF @ like 50 million subparts to the MEE questions and 20 million factors to analyze for the MPT.

So, Did we all have the same MEE questions for the UBE States?

We had:
Corporations/Partnership/Agency - literally it covered every subject a little
Evidence/Crim Pro - yes, combined
Torts
Secured Transactions (really? two tests in a row?)
Contracts
Civil Procedure

This is what I had. I bombed the Corporations and Secured Interests one I'm sure :(

Were the crimpro issues just the fifth amendment for that first statement the guy made?

MD was:
Corporations
Secured Transactions
Family law
MPT
torts
civ pro
property (awful question on easements)
contracts
evidence
Con law (taxing out of state professional athletes, this was my worst of the day)
crim pro

I am SOOOOO tired. Collapsed in bed right after the test and am still trying to motivate to get up and eat dinner.

No, it was about Miranda warnings and when they were given and then included within other evidence from a hearsay exception that was not followed correctly by the attorney. I think. It was all really convoluted.

Yeah I don't think I got that issue. There was another confession subsequent in the last question but it was after warnings and an arrest I don't think 5A was really or a problem.

You're in PA, right? Do you have any idea about that second torts question, the one about the lady's furniture being ruined? That's the only question that I drew a blank on.

PA checking in, I don't recall anyone crying. Maybe it's because I was too caught up with the PokeStop and PokeGym that we had on site.

The exam was pretty straight forward for the most part, but I'm definitely with y'all on the damages question.

I only did ~75% of the practice essays, but there were at least 4 questions that had been ripped off from previous exams.

And, yeah, that damages question is either too easy or too hard.

Leaving the expo center was a clusterfuck. I hope they figure out a way to open more exits tomorrow, since a good chunk of us are gonna be in a rush to get to Atlantic City, and it'd be cool to not spend 45 minutes in a parking lot.

That expo center was cold as anything too. Thankfully I had a sweatshirt in my car, but man oh man. It had to have been like 50 around noon in there.

So, how does everyone feel? According to themis I'm supposed to have a 90% chance of passing. Right now I feel like I'm the other 10%

I want to take the longest nap known to mankind. Like Guinness World Record type of nap.

1st half not too bad. 2nd half, fatigue kicked my ass starting at question 150. The hands of the universe guided me through the rest, cause I was GONE.

Just finished. Feels great. Gonna try to get to 100% completion tonight. Might as well since I'm already at 95.

Right there with you. We had thunderstorms during our PM sesh and the lights flickered when I was at about 60 or so. The only time in my life I prayed for the power to stay on during a test. Not sure my focus could've held out

I have done so many practice questions I felt numb to the whole test. I felt like I only came across stuff that I felt Themis never covered about 6 to 8 times. Overall I felt like Themis prepared me as best as possible

Haha I thought the same thing! Also those MBE questions were trash! At least the morning ones. Wtf?!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
