Is there any free resource for finding the most tested topics? Like, not general subjects, but the most common essay topics, like adverse possession or preclusion or something.

Do you know where we can find the exhaustive list of prohibited items? I'm trying to find out if we are allowed to bring a water bottle, wallet, etc. And if I'm allowed to wear a sweatshirt with a hoodie (even if I don't have the hoodie on). I can't find such a list! Thanks!!squiggle wrote:https://www.nybarexam.org/Security/Security.htmEasy-E wrote:Is there a list of what we can bring with us somewhere?

Just did an MBE practice test and got a very disappointing 54%. I was doing so much better on all my practice quizzes too, had averaged 68% for the week. Feeling so down and worried but trying not to let it affect my studying..but I'm really not feeling good about my chances of passing

Kaplan. I'm just feeling so overwhelmed right now and not sure if I can pick it up in time for the exam. There's just so much to learn, and I am struggling so much, especially with propertymvp99 wrote:What are you using? First, calm down. If you're feeling overwhelmed take the rest of the day of and relax. Tomorrow make a final plan of attack if you don't have one. Was the 54% only because of property? What's your average for each subject?Confusedgraduate456 wrote:Kaplan. I'm just feeling so overwhelmed right now and not sure if I can pick it up in time for the exam. Pretty much. I didn't really "ace" anything (highest subject was 70%) but property was 27% so it was definitely the outlier that brought me down. I thought I had a plan for the rest of my time but it was contingent on me doing better on the MBE. I'm trying not to freak out though but it's toughmvp99 wrote:First, calm down. Well then you know what to do. Focus most of your efforts on property and you'll be fine. Read strategies and tactics, get prop flash cards, etc.Confusedgraduate456 wrote:Pretty much. I think not, but can't say for sure. That would seem to be unconstitutional as cruel and unusual punishment, assuming the Board of Examiners is considered a state actor, which I'd guess it isn't.mvp99 wrote:Anyone?Jss wrote:Does anyone know if the cut/copy/paste function will be disabled when using examsoft?

How much focus are you all putting on the MEE specific topics?
50% of the score is MBE, 20% the MPT and and only 30% the MEE right?
Within that 30%, probably about 15-20% comes from MEE specific topics right? (ie: 50-66% of the MEE comes from MEE specific topics)
I have put almost zero energy into these topics so far but was thinking about spending 3-4 of the last 10 days on them so I can BS the essays enough. Thoughts?

I'm putting more time on MEE subjects now because I've only been getting marginal gains on MBE subjects lately. Another 2 weeks of hard MBE study won't do much for me and I seriously need to memorize some MEE law. I would say that if you're at or above 70-72% on average on the MBE and on each subject then it's time for you to spend half a day on MEE subjects.sinfiery wrote:How much focus are you all putting on the MEE specific topics?

I started a bit late so each day is still returning pretty substantial gains for MBE practice. I will try to spend 30% of the remaining days nonetheless on the MEE.

Sinfiery,
You seem to be in good shape.
I lost a week to strep throat (weird season, I know), and will only have 1-2 days for the MEE-specific subjects.

The Bar prep companies' questions are supposedly tougher than the NCBE ones. Hope that lessens your freakout a little.Confusedgraduate456 wrote:Pretty much.
