I decided to check. Negatory like I thought :(

The information that you have entered does not match with a name on the pass list. This may have occurred because:

1) the applicant was not successful on the examination;
2) the numbers you entered are incorrect;
3) a registration number was entered instead of a file number; or,
4) the person did not take the examination.

I passed. Wow. Totally was not expecting that. I was really, REALLY not expecting to pass. Chalk me up in that pile of people that will tell others in the future to not necessarily discount your chances, no matter how bad you feel walking out of the exam.

Passed. In shock. Now I don't believe it. I'm paranoid that there is a mistake and now I'm telling family and friends and we're all excited and I'm going to be so embarrassed when the truth is uncovered.

So sorry to those who have to try again. You CAN do it. Trust me. If I can you can.

Was gonna check right at 6 but then ended up pacing the office and reading last minute stories about people having to take a third round.

Ended up pacing the empty office hallway way past 6pm, sitting on the floor of an empty office, then clicking the button while semi curled in the fetal position

BUT I PASSED OMG OMG OMG :shock:

Guys, I feel like not taking this exam anymore. I fully understand I am unemployable as a lawyer having graduated in 2001. I don;t even have anymore legitimate contacts to put out a shingle. Everyone of my peers has been practicing for over a decade.

The only possible way I will take this exam again if if the scores show I failed the 1st day, but did a decent job on sy 2 and day 3. Because I only had 2 hours sleep the night before the first day.

But if my scores a low across the board, then it's probably time to hang 'em up. I did 2000+ Adaptibar questions averaging over 70% correct the last month prior to the exam. If my MBE score is low, then I probably maxed out my MBE test taking abilities.

I Passed.

I'm really pissed off that we didn't all pass. I maintain my position that a lot of us should have passed July (which was an easier test) and the only reason we didn't pass was because we had shitty graders.

For those who failed, take my word for it. This says NOTHING about you. The bar exam is subjective. See my post a few pages back, where I had wildly fluctuating 2nd and 3rd read grades for July.

This is a learnable/doable test. DO NOT LOSE HEART. TAKE HEART. DO NOT GIVE UP. SHIT SUCKS BUT YOU DON'T SUCK. YOU WILL PASS. I failed July and said this to myself. It is hard thing to accept but it is the truth. It is a learnable/beatable test. YOU WILL PASS.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

bro I've seen you since the last July bar thread. I sincerely believe you can find improvement by focusing on the essays. I would be happy to read your July and Feb answers to give you my input. For this Feb I barely touched MBE questions. But when I did study them I reviewed them thoroughly to a point I would never get that question wrong again.

However, I did practice 100+ essays. I woke up in the morning, printed out a bunch of essay prompts, and just did it until I went to bed (minus eating and taking a shit etc) Just like LSAT, this exam is all about practicing under timed condition and exposing yourself to as many issues as possible because facts change but issues don't.

PM ME ANYONE IF I CAN HELP YOU OUT WITH ANYTHING AT ALL

I can't believe I passed! I am so relieved.

I feel for all those who didn't. This was my second time taking it and I know how it feels. Keep practicing and keep your heads up. Pick yourself up and do it again :)

And thanks for all the support and advice on the forum, it definitely helped me stay sane :)

I failed with a 1290 the first time around...but this time I PASSED.

Don't give up hope, guys. The bar graders are morons and their stupid test is in no way a measure of your skills. If anyone wants old Kaplan materials or strategies hit me up, because this test can be beaten.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
