Can someone awesome do this for wills/estates?? I literally feel like I know nothing and am kind of in a panic.
Commercial paper:
Know these...
§ Holders in Due Course
§ Forgery
§ Negotiability
§ Blank Indorsements
§ Warranties
§ Shelter Rule
§ Holder Status/Negotiation
§ Not Properly Payable
...to answer these 2 questions:
§ Alteration
§ Impostor Rule

Wills:

□ Will Probate
□ Testamentary Capacity

1. Intestate Succession (has been on 1 in 2 exams since 1992)
2. Lapsed Gifts/120 Hour rule
3. Pretermitted Children
4. Execution and revocation of wills.
5. Will Contests (Undue influence and capacity)
A million times thank you!!

More unsolicited advice (which many of you probably already know):
Review past exams tonight/tomorrow morning/during the lunch break. If consumer law and/or guardianship/trusts is in the afternoon, congratulations, you just got a bunch of free (or cheaper) points. For those of you who did BARBRI, use the past exams book - that's what you should be studying from. Just read the rule, not the analysis, to save time.
FWIW - you can absolutely bomb a few essays and pass, but really try to get at least mediocre at each topic. Also, while page vomiting is not ideal, it is better than a blank page, so put down whatever you can and issue spot as much as possible should you get a wtf moment on one of the essay topics.

There was a question in my PM session where there is a currently a pretty sharp circuit split over the answer, and SCOTUS recently denied cert over resolving. I really hope that was an experimental question, because that's some major BS if that was a real question and they expected us to choose a "right" answer when there is none.
You know non-BarBri taught law? Auto pass.
Hah, barely. It's a case that was covered on a blog I read.

I have the worst MBE hangover in the world. Just hoping to save myself with the essays tomorrow. I haven't looked at the essay material since Sunday and feeling really nervous about it. Just woke up from a post-MBE power nap and hoping to review each subject before getting some sort of "sleep" tonight.
We are almost DONE!!

For business associations do the essays usually go: 1 corporations, 1 non-corporations? Anyone know?
(Don't spend time looking it up like y'all did when I asked about UCC stuff; unless you really really have nothing better to do.)

The only thing I really know is that you can't have a corporation if you wanna run a slaughterhouse. So I really hope all the questions are about that.

So effing nervous about tomorrow. Know I know nothing on a few topics; feel like I know nothing on most topics; and feel like I know enough on one topic.

In case this helps anyone, I made a quick chart for the past 7 exams and what was tested when --

There are a couple mistakes on the exact topics. I did it pretty quickly, and recognized a couple mistakes after the fact. For instance, I think I may have confused a trust question as a wills question or something like that, but it should generally convey what was tested.

Just got out to my car during the break. Am I crazy or was that the easiest set of essays we could have hoped for? Time to study for this afternoon but I'm feeling good so far

I felt good about the essays too.
Did anyone else's laptop upload the exam already? I'm a little freaked out, I had shut off wifi but when exam soft quit it automatically turned my wifi back on and uploaded it. Hope that's not a problem...

Done!! I feel like if I pass, it'll be because of the essays and day one. Feeling pretty good, truth to be told.
The second half of the essays was a bit harder, but honestly I just focused on Oil and Gas and didn't study Real Property and decided to focus on the other subjects instead. Overall, the essays were a breeze compared to the MBE.

I only felt badly about one of the afternoon essays. I'm still extremely concerned my MBE score is going to drag me down though.

Yeah, ruined custom staircases for me. Other than that, felt great.

Afternoon set of essays kicked my ass. I was spewing word vomit on the property question and the commercial paper question.

Yeah, definitely made some shit up. Looked over outlines, some of the things I said were totally wrong, bummer. I can't be the only one who didn't get every subpart right. For those saying they did well, did you really get like every subpart exactly right? If so I'm screwed.
