My bad Virgoyum.

NDBigDave, I appreciate the analysis. I suspect that February may be also traditionally worse than July because of the holiday right in the middle of Bar Prep. This year, there was one week less to study, too. Though, I do have to say that last summer, it was rather weird putting on the blinders for Bar Prep while it was so nice out and everyone was having a good time.

This number crunching can be a headache in and of itself. Kinda feels like that movie Moneyball. At least here in Illinois we'll be put out of our misery soon, for better or worse. I don't envy you all who have to wait until May.

Honestly there are a lot of "first blush," "conventional wisdom" reasons for why people theorize why February pass rates are traditionally lower (Christmas, New Year effectively killing of time/desire to study - however the inverse for July may be true, no real holidays except 4th of July but the weather is better that may coax people outside to dwindle the desire to study). End game, I do think it more clear cut than that - I think that general principles apply that generally July takers are more numerous and are of a "higher quality" (for lack of a better term) as such scores will be lower and grouped closed to the passing score.

That all being said, dont get lost in the weeds with percentile rank, that is a relative term (literally) on a test by test basis. A 150 (good not great) will be a higher ranked score in February than July historically - the key is hitting that magic number of 266 by some combination of writing portion and MBE.

Congratulations to those who have passed.

Would any of you be able to post your prep simulated MBE scores? It might help the rest of us (with a few weeks to go) have some insight.

Again, very well done to all of you.

What is the passing rate for IL? I think IL is the first big sample for us to gauge how difficult this new format of MBE is.

I don't think that they give you your scores if you pass.

Honestly, I truly believe Adaptibar saved my life. That was the one major thing I did differently from all the other times I've taken it.

That, and I drilled the black letter law into my head. I would review the Conviser Mini Review outline for a subject, and then drill it into my head with the Critical Pass Flashcards.

As weird as it sounds, one thing that really helped me was reserving a private room at the library, studying for a bit, and then using Critical Pass cards as if I was teaching a class. So I'd look at a card, see the topic, and then literally stand up and explain what it meant to the empty room and then use examples to explain it.

Passed. My simulated MBE with Barbri was 114/200.

Hey guys don't want to leave the thread hanging just because I didn't get the news I wanted. Still pushing for those waiting on those results.

Good or bad you will feel the weight start to lift once you find out.

Iowa, North Dakota and Illinois are out. NC should be mailing today or Monday. Kansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia all are likely to come out between April 1-10th or so. They usually release the first week - sometime if a little late they come out in week 2. :D :D Good luck to everyone!

If you are looking for a particular state, you can find my list http://deceptivelyblonde.com/bar-exam-results/. If anyone knows a state I don't have on the list, please message me. I appreciate the help, and so do your fellow bar-takers!
