I highly recommend leansheets for MEE subjects. If you go to their FB page you'll find a 15% off coupon ($34 final price) under one of the tabs. I know it sucks to keep spending money on this but I think it's worth it. I was about to condense CMR's Agency and partnership outline but leansheets has already done this for me in 1.5 pages.

I skipped the lecture and downloaded leansheets. It has everything I need to know. The lecture is too basic and a waste of time IMO.sublime wrote:This agency/partnership guy sucks.

Agreed. The leansheets for this one was actually pretty good.mvp99 wrote:I skipped the lecture and downloaded leansheets. It has everything I need to know. The lecture is too basic and a waste of time IMO.sublime wrote:This agency/partnership guy sucks.

He really does. He keeps losing me and on top of that, what the hell is the point of an outline with just a few words on each page? He might as well have me writing out the whole thing. This is ridiculoussublime wrote:This agency/partnership guy sucks.

out of curiosity, how are you guys on keeping a schedule? To be honest, I haven't been keeping to one. I generally stay up until 2 or 3am doing work and wake up around 11am. Lol I'm a night owl, clearly. But I don't follow a strict schedule. I just take the assignments day by day

I've been sleeping about 2am to 10 am.
I just now caught up to my PSP, so hopefully I will move that to more of a 12/1 to 7/8

Same here. I've been trying to adjust my schedule because the exam won't start at noon the 26. I try to wake up every day at 7 am but by 1pm I'm taking a 2-hour nap then falling asleep at around 2-3 am.KRose04 wrote:out of curiosity, how are you guys on keeping a schedule? Yea, I know what you mean. This is how I was in law school too. Usually didn't get much sleep before exams, and I managed to get B's, so I'm hoping it'll be that way for the bar too. I'm always anxious before an exam, and know I won't be getting much sleep the night before, so that's why I haven't tried to change my sleep pattern. Maybe I will try later, but for now I'm just staying as a night owl. Also, I find that when I do try to wake up early, I end up needing a nap during the day too. Smhmvp99 wrote:Same here. How long do the hw things actually take?
And are they worth doing if I could be doing adaptibar or outlining instead?

Worth doing if you feel like AMP works for you. If not, then just note the subject Barbri has identified you should study more and work on it.sublime wrote:How long do the hw things actually take?

is it me or is the CMR missing a section on the formation of principal-agent relationships (ABC)?

just incase anyone has a meltdown in the near future like I did when I got a 2 - I got a regrade of a 4 with "easily bumped to a 5 with a little more analysis" so - godspeed to you all.

Are you guys watching the workshop analysis lectures? How is it different from reading the answers in the MPQ book?

I haven't watched today yet, although for some of them I have appreciated the general strategy stuff.

I've found these to be the most helpful (I'm not taking UBE but pretty sure the workshops etc. are the same).mvp99 wrote:Are you guys watching the workshop analysis lectures? How is it different from reading the answers in the MPQ book?

Are we allowed to bring a packed lunch with us to the actual bar exam? Or do we have to leave it at our hotel?

They guy (who's a hilarious nutjob) supplements with a good blend of black letter law and real world methods of attack for questions better.mvp99 wrote:Are you guys watching the workshop analysis lectures? How is it different from reading the answers in the MPQ book?

If the Bar examiner graders are as incompetent as your first barbri grader, Godspeed indeed.ellewoods123 wrote:just incase anyone has a meltdown in the near future like I did when I got a 2 - I got a regrade of a 4 with "easily bumped to a 5 with a little more analysis" so - godspeed to you all.

Question: suppose we get a torts essay question that implicates vicarious liability. Do we use the analysis given to us in the torts lecture, or the slightly more complicated (assent/benefit/control) analysis from the agency lecture?

Re: BarBri Bar Review Hangout - July 2016 (UBE -NY)
Wouldn't it depend if the guy was acting as the principal's agent? I guess if its an employee, you would have to see if he was acting as the employer's agent? My guess is that they would set it up as an employer running an errand for his employer, as opposed to any old employee who works in a store or something. So probably for agency it'll be a more one-on-one relationship type of scenario, but that's just my guess.john_brown wrote:Question: suppose we get a torts essay question that implicates vicarious liability. Anybody relying on strictly the lecture handouts for review of certain subjects (meaning not touching the CMR or big outline)? For ConLaw and Civpro, I feel that the lecture notes are a pretty complete and intuitive review of the subject, and going into the bigger outlines will only boggle me down with intricate details.
