That means you're ready for it. I took the bar last year (and did Themis), and I still remember this feeling of "fuck it all I'm over it" combined with guilt that I should continue studying and terror that if I didn't continue studying I'd fail. I think I did somewhere in the realm of 2500 PQ's (including the simulated exams) and 40(ish) essays when it was all said and done? I passed with an MBE of 157 or something ridiculous like that.

People last year were telling me that's how you know you're ready for it, so just passing along the favor. You guys are more ready than you feel like. :)

About 1900 plus the 300 milestone questions. I finally did a set of MBE PQs in interactive mode last night (clicked through the last PQ set for a topic I've been killing, in bed on my phone) and I missed having the difficulty-o-meter to reassure me that 40% of everyone else also picked my wrong answer, etc.

I sketched four essays earlier today so I'm down to a zillion minus four. Ugh. I haven't been working on memorization and I'm worried it's going to bite me. But I'm also ready for all of this to be over.

2707 total. 1556 on Themis and 1151 on Adaptibar.
My plan was to focus on the MBE and PTs rather than writing the shit out of the essays.

I stopped doing questions a couple of days ago when my bar prep mentor suggested that I should move to the MEE subjects. In my jurisdiction, 16 MBE Qs = 1 MEE Q.

is your percentage correct on Themis and Adaptibar similar?

Do you see much of a difference in the questions?

How are you all planning on keeping track of timing on essay day? Does anyone know if the exam software has a timer/clock? I don't usually need a full 25 minutes for an essay, but I want to make sure I don't get carried away on test day and then have 5 minutes for my last essay. And I think the seat ticket said if you bring a watch it's got to be analog, which I don't think I even own. :)

My percentage on Themis is about 2 ½ percentage points higher than Adaptibar. But I started Adaptibar much earlier than Themis. I have a bunch of questions from the beginning that I bombed because I did them cold (no review/no study)

I HATE the Qs where the NCBE modern trend disclaimer is listed. Adaptibar Civ Pro questions are BULLSHIT. But so are Themis'
So, really, no. I haven't noticed much of a difference.

My Themis % is around 70%, whereas my AdaptiBar % is hovering at like 64%. The disparity is there because I started in on AdaptiBar earlier than Themis, and I didn't know what I was doing until later on. Also, for whatever reason I think the AdaptiBar programming feeds you a lot more questions in your problem areas than Themis does.

I agree

Gotcha. So overall, the questions are very similar.

I'm going to continue with the assumption that Themis and Adaptibar just feed you questions that are difficult to you, whereas the bar exam will give you a decent mix of difficult with easy questions.

Fuck, now I've got to go back and study all the rudimentary shit so I dont get tripped up on what a fee simple determinable is....

I have them in the Multistate Practice Exam book, but I have no idea where the ebook/PDF versions are.

If you are in new York there are no electronic versions due to copyright reasons. Which is pathetic and outrageous but I don't care since the FROs are poorly written trash anyways

My state director sent them via PM on the Themis portal. Check there. Otherwise, PM me, I can email you the copy from my state.

Fwiw, my state's themis guy told us if you get to 2,000 MBE PQ's, that's a very solid goal. He mentioned that they thought:

MBE PQ: 1,100 was needed to pass, any lower and it would be pretty difficult w/no gtd of passing--
1,500 completed was much better and gave you a very solid chance to pass---
2,000 was considered "great" and maxxing your chance at passing.

This was awhile back, maybe March? When he was hanging out in person at our LS for the day, so I unfortunately don't have any email or anything "real" to cite those #'s with. I'm in PA too, so that probably matters. Hopefully that's helpful!

I don't think my jdx even allows analog watches. :( I'm not sure I could find the one I used from the LSAT four years ago anyway.

Are you using ExamSoft? If so, if you haven't done the mock exam yet, you can use that to try out the software features. If I remember, there's an alarm feature on the panel on the right - it's a relative timer, but you can use it to, like, flash red on the right panel after 15 minutes have passed. I think there might also be just a regular clock showing computer time on the window somewhere (maybe bottom right) but I don't remember.

I'm a bit worried about MBE timing because my jdx doesn't allow watches or electronic timekeeping devices and I don't know if I'm going to be able to sit near a clock.

Way too many. 2140 in Themis and 1695 in Adaptibar. I agree with the previous poster, you really start to see patterns. It's a memory test.

What's everyone's approach to a Conflict of Laws essay? Should we just know chapters 1 and 2 of the lecture handouts and try to apply it to the given set of facts? Or do you think we should attempt to memorize the WHOLE outline, including how it's applied to various subjects (torts, contracts, family law, etc)? There's just too much to know and I can't memorize it ALL! :(

Yeah, i'm at about 1650 + the Milestones/Simulated (300), so around 1950. I'll probably do one 50 set each day but there really are patterns.
