That this is the last meaningful exam I'll ever have to take. Might as well pass it with flying colors.

Plus, do you have good post-bar prep plans?? Anyone? Hopefully that is a motivator, a few more days and you are on your way to freedom (whether its a small trip or relaxation)

I start a clerkship in late August, but I don't have any set plans until then. Honestly, it's gonna be a lot of video games, running, and catching up on TV shows.

Just got final graded essay back with a grade of 10/10. Hopefully the question on the actual exam involves intestate succession.

Sorry to be annoying because I know this has been asked, but was scrolling back to try and find the BarBri essay predictions that someone mentioned - couldn't find them, though, would someone mind passing them along? It would be much appreciated!

Finally did the simulated exam

129 overall.

I know it's not stellar but I hope it's enough.

Themis says you should be getting between 110-120 according to prior posters. I got a 123. So I think you're good.

I've only done 2 MPTs (one graded), I'm looking to maybe go over two more. Anyone have any "hits" in terms of MPTs I should check out?

Maybe a more difficult one or different type of work product?

I just completed the Franklin Resale Royalties Legislation...very different from what I'm used to. I am unsure if we all have the same graded MPTs, if not, maybe try that.

Good luck!

I've only done a few, but the two that immediately come to mind are Franklin Resale Royalties (legislative fact sheet - but I think that was the graded one), and Field Hogs (from sim MEE/MPT day) which includes drafting an arbitration clause. Others have been typical memos/briefs or client letters (and usually involving ethics.) I assume Palindrome involves K drafting based on the name, but I haven't done it yet.

Butler v. Hill requires you to draft a closing. I've done the others that Themis suggested, the rest were pretty standard other than the the legislative fact sheet.

Nice that I finally came across a question where the lender is doing shady stuff and the buyer is not defaulting. Only took about 250 property questions.

Finally did mixed set 9-> 55/100. I think I'm getting worse

So glad I spent a few hours this morning reviewing my 'weak areas.'

What's the highest anyone's gotten in these 50 or 100 problem mixed sets? Any geniuses out there get to the high 80s or 90s?

Lowest: 50%
Highest: 84% (for real, most of these were in the "easy"-far-left-green range)

Average of all the 50 and 100 PQ sets so far: 66.2727273%

I think I got an 88% on one of the 50 problem sets. I got 81% on my practice MBE.

Just did that same set and got a 57, way down from the 70's I was getting before the weekend. The questions seemed really difficult. Just gotta keep pushing forward. We got this!

If it's any consolation, I scored a 54 on that 100 question set. Now I've gotten 70+ on 5 straight sets of 50.

I'm finally getting around to Conflict of Laws, and now I'm very confused about whether statutes of limitation are procedural and substantive.

In CIv Pro lectures and MBE prep, they told us that the Supreme Court ruled SOL are substantive. But now in CoL, I'm being told they're procedural.

Can someone explain?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
