UIUC just released the pass rate for July 2016, so I think they've at least released to the schools. No clue about statewide.

From the UIUC law website:

"In the July 2016 administration of the Illinois Bar Exam, College of Law first-time takers achieved an 91% pass rate."

"In July 2016, 83 percent of Chicago-Kent graduates who took the bar exam for the first time received passing scores, exceeding the state pass rate for first-time test takers by six points."

They released the state passage rate finally. 72% for the state. Some big drops from NU surprisingly and JMLS and SIU less surprisingly.

How would you rate the exam for non Illinois-school takers? Any funky state specific laws to be looking out for? I will be sitting for February after 2+ years of practice but just shy of the waiving by motion cutoff.

The IEE is pretty easy, just have a basic understanding of Illinois civil practice and a few other things. The exam is already 7/8 UBE so Illinois isn't much different than those

I went to LS in NY and didn't have a problem. The IEE is really easy and the rules are mostly similar to MEE rules. I answered the IEE Civ Pro question like an MEE Civ Pro question, for example.

I don't think so, they haven't done that in previous years. You just sit wherever and the candidates all stand at some point.
