You can't have a bar prep meltdown until at least after July 4th, seeing how there are people who don't even start studying until then and still comfortably pass.northwood wrote:ditch digger wrote:Also, I've haven't been writing all of the essays assigned. Neither have I. I thought I was going to get this MBE stuff down and then grind the essays out at the end.beachbum wrote:<--- still hasn't done any of the essays
No kidding. I gave up on that long ago. I could foresee using it as a review or something, but I was just going through the motions and looking for key words to get through as fast as possible, and that wasn't helpful to me.peanut123 wrote:I know it has been discussed but holy shit amp is the worst.
Yeah, I've been using it to review right after the lectures and it is incredibly annoying. It's way more particular than the lectures. At the Drive-In wrote:No kidding. I gave up on that long ago. I do. My paced program hasn't had me do contracts for 3 weeks.mvpforme wrote:Question: Are we supposed to be reviewing subjects outside of the paced program?
It is mind boggling how the paced program will go a a few weeks without really touching an MBE subject...
I do flash card drills on MBE subjects if I have the time/energy for it. During the last few weeks of the paced program, there are a bunch of review assignments on the MBE subjects. I don't think it is absolutely necessary to review all MBE subjects on a weekly basis, but it can't hurt if you have opportunity to do it.ap1987 wrote:I do. Neither do I....I'm taking NY and our last lecture day is the 16th. That gives less than 2 weeks to memorize. I wish our lectures ended next week so we could have at least a few more days...really need to start readjusting my schedule.lmr wrote:30 days left and I'm in complete and utter freak out mode at just how much I don't have memorized at this point. What are these last few weeks supposed to look like? memorize-write essays and do batches of mbes? Is it a dumb idea to devote an entire day to memorizing contracts and writing contracts essays? This paced program makes it seem like two weeks is enough to memorize shit-i just don't buy that.
We have four lectures left I think-i'm getting those done this week. I can't afford to waste my time following their dumb lecture schedule.AJS30 wrote:Neither do I....I'm taking NY and our last lecture day is the 16th. That gives less than 2 weeks to memorize. I have found that writing out the rule statements by hand, breaking down each rule into elements, is quite effective for getting a basic grasp of the material. How can you finish the lectures ahead of time? My paced program only makes them available one class in advance at most.ph14 wrote:Watch the lectures in the next couple of days then. 2x speed is your friend.

I was wondering that as well. They really only put the lectures up a day or two before the class, so I'll only be able to save myself a day or 2, which I guess is better than the alternative.Helpful wrote:How can you finish the lectures ahead of time?
