Is there anyone who can provide me a clear yes or no answer regarding whether or not they will be able to find out that I didn’t take the exam? Either by calling the bar or checking online?
Short answer is probably not. The fact that you're worried about your parents calling the Texas Board tells me that your parents are investigative to some degree. What if they just flat out ask you for your emailed score from the Board? Then what?

Why don't you call the Board and ask if "Person X" who you know never took the Bar did in fact take it? I guess you'd have to pretend to be an employer or the like. But yeah, you see where this is going? Just tell your parents that you're not up for the Bar this go around if you are indeed going through a crisis. Without minimizing the abnormal stress you may be feeling, this time of bar prep is difficult and situationally depressing for most. Put your head down for the 150 hours and practice, practice, practice. You got this. Best of luck!

You keep ducking the question I think everyone's real curious of: What do you have to lose if you show up and fail? You say you don't want to "waste an attempt?" but does that even mean? Can you still get your money back at this point?

Here's the way you have to look at it: If you don't show up to it, you're going to fail. 100% certain.

I'm not really sure how that would be a softer blow than if you spent the next week getting in as much studying in as you can, warned your parent ahead of time that you doubt you'll pass, showed up to it, put out your best effort, and then failed. Heck, imagine how awesome you'd feel if you ended up passing (which is still a possibility) Then you can be one of those people who runs around bragging about how he didn't study for the bar but still passed "and here's what you have to do if you're crunched for time..."

Life sometimes deals you shitty hands. Don't just lay down without a fight. If you're going to go down, go down swinging. You'll ultimately feel a lot better about yourself that way.

In fact, OP's mother or some other family member could call the Texas Board pretending to be OP, ask for an update on OP's application, and uncover the deception that easily once the caller hears that there's no record of OP taking the bar exam.

At this point, OP's intransigence and poor judgment come across like this is a trolling post.

I know you feel your question hasn't been directly answered, but people have been trying to help you.

If all you want is a yes/no answer, is there something stopping you calling the state bar yourself?
