Re: PASSED!
FYI, received my MBE score from NCBEX - 145 Scaled. This is lower than what I received on my final practice Kaplan MBE 200 question exam. I received a 153. But my actual score appears to be in line with my practice scores percentage on the Kaplan QBank - I was at 69%, two days before the exam and the night before the exam I practiced a bit and went up to 70%. It appears that my raw score may be roughly 130/190 which is 68%...but since we do not receive raw scores, I can't be sure...
Again, good luck to all still waiting and for those with disappointing news--keep pushing, and never, ever give up!!!

Re: PASSED!
When you say you got a 153 on the Kaplan final, do you mean a raw 153/200? Or is that accounting for Kaplan's "curve" (I believe they told us to add 15 points to the raw score to estimate exam-day performance).JayRock2015 wrote:FYI, received my MBE score from NCBEX - 145 Scaled. If you got a 153/200 raw on the Kaplan final they would have been predicting a 168 scaled MBE for you.
I ask mostly because I got a raw 148/200 on the Kaplan final and I'm trying to use your performance as a gauge of where I might fall.

Re: PASSED!
I passed too. I was surprised because I had to makeup all the rules for the LLC essay and got a 7/10, which was the same score I got on my MPT that I thought I did well on. 8/10 is passing. Goes to show some of this stuff can be random/luck. I only got a scaled MBE score and not my raw score. If you transfer your MBE to another jurisdiction do they used you scaled score or raw score?

Everyone uses scaled. No one uses rawjdmonkey wrote:I passed too. Ouch. That sucks. I know a guy who is at K&L Gates that took the same approach. Hope it worked out for him.A. In one case I think it was because she was ambivalent about actually practicing, and in the other I think it was partly because my school always has a 90+% pass rate and this person was at the top of the class and figured they could get away with it.BillCooper wrote:Did you know of any that simply blew off the bar or didn't take it as seriously as they should? I did not work and studied eight hours a day. Although I did get two C's my first year. So who knows.

Re: PASSED!
Yes. The only change is that I used Kaplan instead of Barbri.
Indiana is my jurisdiction and if you pass they do not give you your bar exam score but you need a 264 to pass. Once Indiana releases results you can order your scaled MBE score from the National Conference of Bar Examiners for a fee of $25.00.

Re: PASSED!
My actual MBE was better than any of the sets or simulated exams I did on Barbri. Better than my simulated raw score by 10-13% depending on how you calculate it.

Some people have discussed their real MBE and Adaptibar scores here: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=268924resipsajob wrote:Anyone that has a score also use Adaptibar? Any data points there?

Sounds about right. Though I think your raw score may have been 132-133.JayRock2015 wrote:FYI, received my MBE score from NCBEX - 145 Scaled.
