I cant find the info anywhere, since this whole NYLE thing seems to be super well thought-out.
Cannot find this info anywhere either!! Would love to know! Good luck

Just got an email that results will arrive via email "within two weeks" from today. Which seems slow.

Hi guys,
I'm using the Safari browser on my Macbook. I watched the first segment of the Professional Responsibility lecture, about 11 minutes long, and after it was done, it didn't present me with a question, instead, it transferred me to this page:
https://www.newyorklawcourse.org The welcome page for the NYLC. Did anyone else find the videos/website to be glitchy like this when trying to watch the videos?? It didn't even mark the video that I watched as complete!! Did anyone else have this problem??? If so, what can I do so that this doesn't happen again? Thanks!

I didn't have that problem but try using different browsers. Check that your software is updated.

URGENT QUESTION: If we use a video fast forwarder, will we still pass the electronic audit of time spent watching the course materials? NEED to know...

I sped of my videos, was audited, and had to do the whole thing over again.

I know others who had the same thing happen and now they're worried it may be in their file for C&F. It's not worth it. Just let the video run on mute in the background while doing other things.

EDIT: Never mind, instructions were e-mailed to me shortly after completing the videos
Where do we take this exam? Online or somewhere in NY?
Do we need to take this exam and pass before the NY bar result comes out???

I've gotten the impression from your posts that you refuse to google anything or read instructions for anything. Perhaps, as a lawyer, you might want to get into the habit of doing so.
You take it online. You don't need to pass pre-bar.

If you've already used the video fast forwarder, are you completely fucked anyways?

If you've already sped up one video what is the best course of action? Speed up the rest and just bite the bullet of the audit?

Your post is quite rude to me. If you want to give advice, you'd better just give it, rather than nagging like this or bossing around. I came across the above post, had a question and posted it while I was taking finals. the deadline for the NY Bar registration was Nov 30 so I was worried. I don't understand why you have a problem with me. Just pass.

Two questions for those that have already taken the exam: (1) is simply ctrl + f'ing through the exam sufficient preparation? Or how much additional review is necessary/recommended?; (2) how long did it take for the results to come back?
Thanks in advance.

I did the sample test with 20 questions that's in the BOLE website, I read through the outline but I don't think I retained anything so I did the ctl f. I took it may 2016, we got the results back in 2 weeks

Just read/skim the outline. Basically you want to understand what topic the question is about so that when you're ctrl-f'ing, you'll find the answer easily and generally understand what is being asked. If you don't read the outline at all you might run into a bunch of stuff you're not familiar with and get confused.

Would be surprised if it was anything less than 95%.
