I'm so sorry for your loss. Not that this compares but my dog died two weeks before the bar exam. You put your life on hold for two months to study for one test, then once it's over you have to deal with the shit you put on hold. I'm sure your grandfather is very proud of you for pushing through no matter what the results are. And I agree. Studying for the bar exam definitely makes you think about how bad you want it or if you really want it at all.

Gained about 8 pounds from stress-eating, which is a lot because I'm short. Now don't fit into some of my favorite new work clothes that I bought this spring. Grr.

My parents were kind enough to bring it to my attention the other day in case I thought I was hiding it well.
Now I'm on a diet and wondering if I should just give up and invest in some Spanx

I had a friend do that. He came up with zero results and thought he failed. Turns out the PDF was a scan of the printed pass list and thus, an image with nothing searchable. He spent a few days thinking he failed.Kage3212 wrote:Just have to rip the band-aid off here and ctrl+f.PJP wrote:The most stressful time is when the passing list is published online and your hand is shaking slowly scrolling down to the alphabet heading your last name starts with... A fit 172 to 200 for me (granted this started during my final semester of LS). And the weight gain probably doesn't help either AMIRITE?!
Just kidding, but really though, the weight gain thing, I stopped running 8 weeks before to prevent any injury prior to travelling, and I have a good 20lbs to lose now.

I did too and wished I hadn't stopped. Once you're in your groove, it's easy to meet running goals. But as soon as you fall out of that routine, getting back into it is a bitch. I'd be lucky to manage 10 miles/week right now, whereas I was hitting 30-35/week in February and January. Ughtrustmouse83 wrote:And the weight gain probably doesn't help either AMIRITE?!

I went from about 190 to 200, mostly due to drinking tons of iced coffee and eating candy at night when I wanted to relax. But even now, yeah I go to the gym, cool, but finding a job is hard, and I can't help but think about the bar 24/7.

Yeah I've packed on close to 15 pounds from graduation to a few days after the bar. I've lost 5 of those.trustmouse83 wrote:And the weight gain probably doesn't help either AMIRITE?!
