One prediction I have read so far:
- MC: Wills&Administration of Estates and Business entities ( in addition to the 3 other required subjects for MC)
- Essays: Torts, Family Law, and Ethics
Personally, I would love this to be the case!

I am thinking (hoping?) it's something like this:
MC: Wills, evidence, and the three required ones (the procedures)
Essay: Ks with an ethics issue, family law, and trusts or torts.

For those doing Barbri, are you guys doing anything in addition to the paced program? I'm just trying to gauge what is normal. *shrug*

Hey I was wondering the same thing... I have my nights and most of my weekends free and I feel like I should be freaking out more. As of right now I am not, and I have not started memorizing. Honestly, so far, this whole thing has not been as bad as I thought it would be.

I'm doing all the lectures, reviewing those lecture notes, and doing all the assigned problems both essay (which I roughly outline) and multiple choice. I initially was reading the CMR but I decided it was too much of a timesink so now I only use it for reference. Lectures evidently have the most important material anyway. Haven't done a single AMP.

Falling behind on the schedule set out by Themis. 16% behind the expected 39% completion progress by today (6/17).
Kinda freaked out but not having an aneurism about it.
Anyone else falling a little behind? Thoughts? Suggestions about putting priority between the different types of assignments would be helpful. (i.e. essays, MC, lectures/review, reading, graded assignments, etc.)

I'm at 35% in Florida but it doesn't make a lot of sense because before I was being really causal and getting behind (like only doing 50% of the assignments when assigned) and they sent out a range which I was within, surprisingly. I since then kicked it into gear and complete most of the assignments on time and now I've fallen behind?
You should probably put more time in though. You really have to do whats best for you, but I'm ignoring the outlines outright and focusing on the lectures (played at 1.5x speed). When it says to review notes I generally just review the summary outlines. When I miss a MC question, I crack the long outlines open if I notice a pattern. As far as the essays, you should probably do those but if you are already behind maybe just outline it and write out the elements then read the model answer.

Thanks! I have seriously neglected the essays but spending most of my time reading the outlines carefully. I know this makes me "n0ob of the year" but how the fuq do I speed up the lectures? I'm using firefox on osx. Dunno if that matters. I've been looking for the button/tab/whatever to speed up the lectures.

How are you doing on the PQs? If you are doing really well then don't change anything. Everyone learns this stuff differently and you know more about how you efficiently learn material. Me personally, I put very little emphasis on the outlines, some emphasis on the lectures, and ALOT on the practice questions + summary outlines. I know this works great for me but its not for everyone.
I recommend doing something similar to how you prepared for the MPRE unless you just slipped by.

I'm at the Westin, it's like a 4 minute walk. Absolutely the last thing I wanted to do that morning is worry about parking.

Prediction: Essays will include torts (since 2002, they've never gone more than 2 administrations without testing torts, so we're due), contracts, real property and either professional conduct or con law.

Same. This would be an awesome setup, IMO. No family law? Family law essays are the bane of my existence.

Family law is easy though
Easy law to memorize and you just mess around w the facts they give you and rack up points
Also issue spotting isn't as hard
Agreed that it's easy, I just feel like there's a lot of stuff to do with divorce, and it's difficult to remember everything. I don't know. For some reason it hasn't really stuck yet for me.

Makes sense that Vandy is big in FL. Hopefully more than 2/3 of us pass the bar when the time comes lol. Looked at the passage rates for UF, FSU, and Stetson--absurdly high.
