I have been looking and can't seem to find anywhere that states it has to be in color. I know I printed mine black and white so if anyone has a definite answer I would love to know so I can find somewhere to reprint mine if necessary.Mckay wrote:Look at the ble site. For some reason, I remember reading somewhere that it should be in color but I do not remember for sure. Anyone else remember this or did I dream it?favrefire4 wrote:I don't see why this would be the case, but, just to make sure, we don't have to print our admission ticket in color do we? I can't imagine this would be necessary, but, let me know!!
Thanks!

Thanks for the information on alternative parking. Re the color and printing the admission ticket, I will look when I get back to my hotel and post if I find anything.

I've scoured the instructions. Nowhere does it say the ticket must be in color.

Re: February 2017 Texas Bar Exam
Ok...this is going to look like I have no clue but I'm just panicking because I am looking at older exams. Is there a limit on requests for production? I have read recent answers saying no but then an older one led me on a goose chase and I read there is a limit to 15 on RFA, RFD and RFPs...

Re: February 2017 Texas Bar Exam
As always, I want to disclaim that I could be wrong about this. But, my understanding was that you're limited to 25 interrogatories under the standard discovery level plan and everything else was more or less unlimited. Granted, if you ask for 10,000 RFA then, yeah, you might have exceeded your limit. But, anything within reason, I *believe* is OK.

Re: February 2017 Texas Bar Exam
Requests for production are not limited under any discovery level. Discovery Levels 1 and 2 only serve to limit interrogatories and depositions, as well as the total time window for all discovery. (And Discovery Level 3 simply means whatever the judge allows). The judge will have something to say about excessive or irrelevant RFPs though.

Does anyone know if there is a sample mortgage answer posted? Otherwise, any helpful tips for last minute mortgage review?

Walked by the center earlier. It's pretty well sign posted. I think I'll put away my notes and go down for dinner and a glass of wine!

So I'm guessing I'm not the only one who was like WTF on that P&E section... or at least I'm hoping... it would be nice if a couple of those were thrown out.favrefire4 wrote:Yikes...

I guess that's that.

After the time crunch of that MPT, I am almost looking forward to the MBE.

I agree there were a few that I haven't encountered before either in practice questions... or in my outlines/lectures ... hopefully enough of us missed the same questions that they get thrown out. I really didn't like the asking the same/ or extremly similar question twice in a row, just pertaining to different people.favrefire4 wrote:There were MULTIPLE odd-balls that I had never seen before nor knew how to answer...

Luckily we still have a lot of test to make it up... at least that's what I am telling myself!

Re: February 2017 Texas Bar Exam
Make sure to upload your answers if you took by computer. I had ExamSoft problems the last couple minutes and couldn't correct one answer I wanted to change. No biggie but I am hoping it will not be an issue on Thursday. I really prefer typing to writing. Anyone else have an issue? When I talked to the ExamSoft guy, he said several had a similar issue and went to writing. Fortunately, for me, I was good until 2 minutes left.
It was the Crim Pro part that I thought was really different from anything I had seen. I don't even know where to look in my notes for some of those..... Barbri will have to update it's lecture notes after this round of questions.
Hope you are all feeling good about today - as good as we can. Two more days to go!

I wrote it so I was in the back section. There were plenty of red flags going up.
Yeah, it was the crim part for me too. Time was tight on the mpt, just had to watch that clock and move on when necessary.
Debating whether to do mbe questions or study essays this afternoon.

Me too. I have practiced in other states and a lot of the Texas law is new to me. Trying to decide the best use of time tonight since I know I will feel hashed tomorrow.

Re: February 2017 Texas Bar Exam
Agreed. Crim portion was a total mess. And, that's probably being polite. Does anyone know how bad someone could do on the P&E portion of the exam and still have a realistic chance of passing?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
